That place is beautiful and very unique. The people are great. It is, however, lurking government support to fix broken walkways, sewage and cleanliness. It needs a Good Samaritan to step in. A great tourist attraction/ destination.

There is a simple rule with Swahili food. Everything that is eatable is Indian food, like Biriani and Pilau for example. Kenyans swear that that is Kenyan food. True, in India they are better 🙂

The cats are used to fish & rice. 🙂 That tour guide you had wasn't that impressive. Especially when he doubled the price from 500 to 1000 after suspiciously getting that extra 100 at the expensive coffee shop. Great video Michele. Those narrow streets looked liked an easy place to get robbed. I assumed the streets smelled with the open sewers. That guy you spoke too that was offering the boat ride seemed like a really interesting person. Nice too! Thankss o much for sharing with us. I enjoyed watching!

Hi Michele, what an exclusive video of Lemu, the city is really very old like going back in time, the streets are beautiful and the buildings have the old charm which is very interesting to see, your guide did very well except the scamming.
