Thanks for the video! Had a difficult time finding something on replacing the battery for the physical key with fob combo rather than those that only have the fob.
Thanks so much. Great video. Clear and concise!! The only improvement would be at 1:34 to turn towards the camera to actually see where you pop open battery case.
My old dying battery works (unless its cold) but my new replacement of the same exact type will not work at all. The new battery is not dead and i can tell by getting shocked when i tongue the edge
Replaced the battery in my fob (2020 Tacoma), now it will not remotely lock/unlock the doors, the key will start the truck...??? I check the polarity and verified the battery was charged (3.2 vdc)... any suggestions?
Hello there , I just bought the Toyota Coma 2017 . They just only have 1 key left. I purchased another key online . But it’s doesn’t work. Can you please show me how to install it. Thank you.
IMPORTANT ! Your key may not Immediately work it took a while for my key to start working. It took a day and a night and fiddling with the coin cell for it to start working.
I used a coin (a quarter) to open both the outer and inner case. I thought, "Well, that is much simpler than searching for a small screwdriver." Then I had to hunt for a small screwdriver to get the battery unseated.
Easy tutorial. My only problem is after I changed the battery, it won’t connect to my car. But after I put the old battery back, it unlocks the car again. Anyone experienced this?

@@lukeamirault4661yea im surprised he hasn't changed it after bringing it to his attention.
Probably Amaz's fault. They're notorious for referring customers to unrelated products. "Aren't all keys / batteries/ oil filters / etc, etc, the same?? 😅😅😅 @lukeamirault4661

MY battery will not seat. the back keeps popping up.

Thanks I do myself
I somehow did all of it with my fingers no screwdriver and no fingernails 😂
My shit broke thanks
Shout Google for telling me it’s a CR2032 battery. Jesus
Same. AI summary did me WRONG! I should have searched UA-cam.
Just use a dime and do it in the parking lot after buying a battery
