My old dying battery works (unless its cold) but my new replacement of the same exact type will not work at all. The new battery is not dead and i can tell by getting shocked when i tongue the edge

Replaced the battery in my fob (2020 Tacoma), now it will not remotely lock/unlock the doors, the key will start the truck...??? I check the polarity and verified the battery was charged (3.2 vdc)... any suggestions?

IMPORTANT !
Your key may not Immediately work it took a while for my key to start working.
It took a day and a night and fiddling with the coin cell for it to start working.

I used a coin (a quarter) to open both the outer and inner case. I thought, "Well, that is much simpler than searching for a small screwdriver." Then I had to hunt for a small screwdriver to get the battery unseated.
