Based on the Global Bestselling Self-Help Phenomenon, The Subtle Art of Not Giving A F*ck is a cinematic documentary designed to help us become less awful people. The author himself, Mark Manson, cuts through the crap to offer his not-giving-a-f*ck philosophy: a dose of raw, refreshing, honesty that shows us how to live more contented, grounded lives.
With over 15 Million copies sold, The Subtle Art of Not Giving A F*ck struck a chord with readers all over the world and now, its no-bullshit, life-changing advice comes to the screen. Backed by both academic research and scatological jokes, The Subtle Art of Not Giving A F*ck shows us that improving our lives hinges not on our ability to turn lemons into lemonade but on learning to stomach lemons.
Whether you couldn’t be f*cked to read the book, or you want a helpful refresher, The Subtle Art of Not Giving A F*ck reveals a counterintuitive approach to living a good life, designed to make us laugh, think, and grow. Filled with entertaining stories and profane, ruthless humor, this movie is a much-needed grab-you-by-the-shoulders-and-look-you-in-the-eye moment of real-talk to remind us that there are only so many things we can give a f*ck about, so we need to figure out which ones really matter.

1:00 It looks like the movie uses stock footage - that's a bad sign.

This book read like a frat bro who went to India once. The writer humble brags his way through most of it and claims enlightenment. A movie adaptation is just doubling down on the vapid nature of the author. Wack.

Go cry. You didn't really even read what the author was saying, you projected, and missed the value he had to offer. Shame, you really seem like you could have used it too.

@Rylan Russell My statement isn't to paint the author as one dimensional. I definitely read the book. But I'd prefer not to take advice on breathing from a fish.

@@franciscoantonio5306 "The writer humble brags his way through most of it" again you read the book but missed the point. I assume you're speaking of his experience traveling. None of which was an attempt to in some way boost his credibility (he makes no such attempt) and he actually talks in depth about how that time in his life was actually driven by shitty values. Particularly his commitment issues in young adulthood. Far from bragging. But you missed that point and made a straw man argument of what you perceived to be "humble bragging."
And aren't you stuck up. In your world can one not speak wisdom without first acquiring a PhD, 6 figure income, a Lambo, a mansion and a wife with fake breasts? Ad hominem.
Tell me, do you have any actual objections to any of his arguments? Do you see any flaws in the content?
I think you just don't like it because it conflicts with your core beliefs.

I swear his fans are just like him, claiming to not give a f**k and then tearing people for having any opinion about a mediocre book!

I suppose people interpret books and the messages being conveyed differently? To each their own. I like the book, issue being it takes dedication to change oneself for the better. Even if you read the book and understand the ideas given.
