It's so bitterly ironic: Thanks to the wonders of CGI, Holywood has such total control over imagery that it can bring literally any scene to life and do it believably - but it can't write a decent, original story to save its life.

The most overrated thing that people look for in cinemas is Originality. Originality is dead. Everything's been done before. You couldn't give me an idea right now that Hollywood hasn't tried at least in some way in a show or movie

In 2001-2003 we got the greatest movie trilogy of all time: Lord of the Rings. Fast forward 20 years and all we get now is creative bankruptcy (sequels, remakes, prequels and spin-offs).
And the Harry Potter movies, feeling like theirs nothing original anymore.

There are so many amazing literary works that would make phenomenal movies if done right, but all they can do is regurgitate old movies into newer shittier versions of the original. Do better Hollywood, cause it's just getting ridiculous.

I was really worried within the first minute of that Crow trailer - but by the end I was into it. I still remember the day when Brandon Lee died. I will wait for judgement until I see the whole movie. It could be a good part of the series - nothing could be worse than City of Angels.

I really don't mind them doing remakes or spin offs, but put a little more effort and love into what made the original version so good to begin with, not just using the same story with lesser quality cast.
