I am going into the 6th semester of a BSN program and I start my ICU clinical next week. I just discovered your UA-cam channel and loved it so much. Thank you so much for helping me understand what I need to know.
Well I'm happy that you found that channel and that you are finding these videos helpful for you! There's a lot of good info in here that might help if you run into any difficult topics. 😊
Great videos! Thank you so much. I just recertified, I’m an IM doc and your videos so informative, so colorful 8:43 and you speak so clearly. The person running the BLS/ACLS class had an accent, and although I could understand her, it still tires out my brain. It became an added factor to interpret when taking the class.
I just started working in a surgical trauma ICU straight out of school and these videos are super helpful in simplifying everything.
Awesome! Congrats on the new STICU spot Savanna! Thats the same area I started out in the ICU. Lots of cool stuff to see and learn there!

Great to hear this Paulyn. Happy to help and glad you enjoyed it!
I have been waiting for you to place A line CVP or swan TEE CXR ABG/ CMP Mg2 consultation . I am retired MD for many years you did great job I was useful to remember that stuff but I feel no major changes and many times we do thing simultaneously. Probably post arrest an am of bicarb may help i though vasopressin took back stage generally I like norepi for hypotension after cardiac arrest. Thank you though also you were delayed in controlling the air way by intubation I have led many codes once we confirm call for help start cPR we usually intubate immediately it is easy to sy for me because we have a cart ready all the time and an MD can intubate of course not all MD can intubate. May be I was lucky but at the same time we dealt with the sickest and also we have an MD to do TEE any way I enjoyed your lecture wishing you good luck
Your videos are really worthy 🙏🏻

Great video! We don't really need this in MBBS since we are expected to move on to specialise and learn in our specialty, so we only get taught the Resuscitation protocol, but this was useful since I started working in an ICU as a junior resident for a short gig beforey specialisation. Thanks for the help!
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed it Daniel and all the best in finishing up your training!

Thank u very much from eygept

Can you do insulin drips, amio drips, and maybe some skills videos
I like the insulin drip suggestion! As for skills, what are you thinking? They are kind of hard to do in my video format style, but I can think about ways to maybe do some.
Like.wonderful resentation
great explained :P
Your shirt has a typo lol thanks for the vid!
What shirt??
2 questions. posy cardiac arrest maintence drip of antidysrhytmic drugs? And is pacing still being used post arrest?
Eddie, when, instead of stenting the patient would TPA be indicated?
Primarily when they cannot get to a cath lab quick enough, or if they refuse.
Awesome
ty!
Sir i need to ask a question, can you have rosc without return of spontaneous breathing?
Absolutely
If the patient is in bradycardia after resuscitation do we need to intervene with usual acls bradycardia algorithm or is normal post rosc?
❤
👍
ty!
Super duper ddank you
My pleasure!
nice
Thank you!
❤️❤️❤️🙏
Wait...so this patient shouldn’t board in the ED for 28 hours while the nurse cares for five other patients???! 😖
Wait...so the patient shouldn't board in the ED for 5 hrs while waiting for an ICU bed?.........
....
Yeah def not preferred
What to do when family member has a cardiac arrest for lack of oxygen in the hospital? Very probably the airway was displaced Friday night when the hospital staff is cut to 1/3 and the staff did not place airways on time to avoid the cardiac arrest.
You do an amazing job, thank you!
I think I'm gonna marry you
Thank you
Great video
