SO MANY INTRUSIVE THOUGHTS!
Whilst i think it can be helpful to rationalise some thoughts like you described in this video, in my experience some intrusive thoughts (particularly ones that are completely unaligned with your values) can get worse when i try to rationalise and think about them. Whats helped me is reminding myself that “i am not my thoughts” - separating my higher self from anxious/intrusive thoughts that come up. Once i realise my thoughts arent facts they are just suggestions i can let them go and allow space for a newer more positive thought to come up. Particularly if you are a highly anxious constantly having to check and rationalise and figure out every thought that comes up can easily become obsessive and cause more anxiety
