Being back the supermodels, bring back the fun to fashion, no more entitled aristocratic rich brats play acting and getting paid for it. Give us charismatic hoofers not insipid marionettes. Today's models are dull and lifeless as the models of the supermodel era were fun, smiley, walked with purpose, engaged the audience. I won't even watch fashion shoes anymore because I'm tired of seeing emaciated rich kids blended in with real talent but being all the accolades.
@Shawn McQueen because there was a lot more emphasis put on the models back in their heyday, and that implied taking the risk of spending a lot of money in order to try and create brand new supermodels (and not nepo ones).
*Vogue's UA-cam channel is killing it this year!* *JPG really raised the bar for creativity and representing night life underground fashion culture of the early 90's.* *Even his cologne 'Le Male' was a masterpiece and the mid 90's club king before it got reformulated.*
Gaultier has been my favorite designer for decades. Every piece of his no matter what condition is still wearable. This collection years definitely was visionary, people wearing face masks 25 years before Covid-12 pandemic. He truly is one of the greatest artists of our generation, what a show. Loved how the pregnant models daughter grew up to walk his runway, what a cycle of continuance.
Gualtier is a genius. He knows the principles of couture, how to design for any kind of body and most importantly, he always embraced diversity without bragging about it.
Not to throw shade but out all the interesting people walking the catwalk, I didn’t notice Linda Evangelista at all. His shows were soooooo interesting, so forward thinking and alive.
Remember JEAN PAUL at the fabulous SOBE Century Hotel parties, held by Willy Moser and David Colby and of course the lovely Edwige, which is not with us anymore...
Jean Paul has sooooo many amazing shows!!! i want to see the FRIDA KAHLO show!!!!! I want to see the MADONNA show (with the dog in the carriage) sooooo many!!!!
Incredible show and video. You should do a Yamamoto show because he's one of our last masters and such a gentleman. A Rochas show by Theyskens would also be gorgeous.
This is the BEST thing Vogue has put out in YEARS!

jason Shores you have no idea what you’re talking about
I most certainly agree with you but the recession most certainly doesn't

The face mask concept in that show was so ahead of it's time.
Gualtier is a genius. He knows the principles of couture, how to design for any kind of body and most importantly, he always embraced diversity without bragging about it.
Truly ahead of his time, the face mask 😷 part gave me the chills though, who would have ever thought that would be popular!?!
They already were in Japan. It's nothing new. He talks about it in the video
