Love when the announcers start talking about a particular gymnast (i.e., Grace McCallum @ 51:57) while the camera shows someone else entirely (i.e., Lucy Stanhope).

I’m still confused as to why Utah keep using Sage on vault when her scoring potential isn’t that high. Cristal is healthy and has competed a great yurchenko full before, same with Maile (I know she wasn’t competing in this meet).
Sage's scoring potential is quite high at 9.95, as a club athlete her vaults were consistently near perfect. She was not set to go tonight, but filled in for Maile.
@@billgreen4592 I’m not talking about her 9.95 start value potential, I’m taking about the inbuilt deductions the judges keep seeing to find that makes her score 9.7-9.8. That’s the low scoring potential I’m talking about.

What a great meet with a lot of great gymnastics happening :) Some of the scores I dont understand and in my opinion LSU had a scoring advantage on floor. But i guess overscoring is normal for the final homemeet of the regular season. Anyway i cant wait to see these teams in postseason :)
Not in 2022 because the coaches wanted her to spend the year proving herself as a teammate at LSU after the situation at UCLA and focus on improving herself and learning and growing from her past but she did all of 2023 season and will this year and the next as well (barring injury)
