Ace Combat 2 was one of the first games I ever played in my PS1. I never knew the name, or how to play, but the music just glued. I'm so happy I finally found out the name of the game after 14 years.
When I was a little kid I was super interested of aviation then one day my dad got ace combat 5 for me and I was super happy I played it alot until today, I play ace combat 7 to this day. Damn time goes by super fast
My uncle bought me a Playstation 2 With some of the game disk And Ace combat 5 The unsung war is one of them. i love that game but My Playstations Lens is Broken cant play it anymore
Ace Combat 3D was my first Ace Combat game, and i was like: "Wow, there is lazers in this game !" And Ace Combat 7 was my second ! :D And i loved him ! (Ace Combat 7)
Just bought ace combat 7 off steam for 5.99 saw it was on sale and had flash backs of playing one of them on the ps2 as a kid. Can't remember which one it is. Plays perfectly on the steam deck.
This game is so great because many of us wanted to be pilots but never made it because of poor eyesight, heart problems, poor grades, unwillingness to join the military etc. I personally don't want to surrender my freedom in exchange for the chance to pilot an eagle for few years. You can't fly jets to 30 years in the air force. If you could, every 30 years the whole crop of pilots would retire and it would cripple the air force's fighting power. Instead they keep sending older pilots to a desk and bringing in young ones. The correct balance is 50% veterans and 50% new recruits. Thus at no time will the air force experience a mass retirement of pilots a year before a war. Instead the air force experiences a balanced, staggered retirement rate. These people study everything, they know things. I played the very first Ace Combat or as it was called in North America, Air Combat. But the next one onwards was called Ace Combat. Then I played Ace Combat 04 Shattered Skies and haven't played another one since. Then AC7 came and I picked it up. I liked it.
I would play 4 and 5 if they got remade with modern graphics but with ace combat 6 being my first one I can’t see myself enjoying looking at the 20 pixels on screen.
Dude...that soundtrack! Of Course I'm talking about Ace Combat 2! Mind you, the last I played was the electrosphere and I mean PLAYED, I tried the fourth one and called it quits from the series...
Is there any game similar of Ace combat advance? Unlike other ace combat , It is top-down view. it has levels/missions. Its aircrafts can land , can be crashed if landing the wrong place or flying too low , flying up and down , speed up and slow down.
