- For years GMC & Chevy has shown you 6 feathers of the MultiPro Tailgate. Well, Chevy got the same tailgate called Multiflex because we have to be different. I found a new feature that nobody has shown you.

I love how I just wasted 3 min and 10 second of my life to watch this guy close a tailgate. My 1970 ford has that same feature. Congrats. So cool.
Number 8, with it in the lowest position, it makes an excellent place to sit and the cup holder is just right there. I got a gmc with this tail gate, I didn’t know if I wanted it or not. I decided to get it, and I am extremely pleased with that decision. it is incredibly functional and would get it again in a heart beat.
So I guess my tailgate has a two position feature: open and closed.

for 2023, if you hold the upper button in for 4 seconds it locks the upper section from opening so you can't accidentally hit a trailer hitch. Hold again to release the lock feature

Charge batteries maybe. The 120 volt outlet wont run any high amperage items especially not a saw. And yes I own one" in GMC
You can actually get the EZ lift assist, power lock and release for the Multi-flex tailgate. That would be the seventh feature if optioned with it.
I watch this whole video to see the 7th and it's just him trying to sell me a truck I already own lol

You didn’t mention it also had a place for the dealer to add four speakers for tailgating party. Or lighting, if you prefer.

If you hold the button for the inner tailgate for 30 seconds it makes in non functional so can't open when have a hitch in place then hold again for another 30 seconds and is functional again

I knew about all aix but the seventh feature was a pleasant surprise.
I installed two led lights in two of the four speaker knock out spaces. That would be a legitimate #7.

But can it be fully opened (with step) and closed by using the key fob only? Why does no one mention if this is possible or not?

I guess he is kidding or car salesman BS about the hitch. If it was illegal, with a bolt on hitch, (non receiver hitch) you would have to unbolt it when not hitched to a trailer. He didn't think that on through before he just started running off with the BS.
