Just remember that tailgate outlet cannot handle much …3 Amps max which limits most things you would want to plug into it AND the truck must be running for it to operate so also keep in mind your exhaust and carbon monoxide which is odorless and my truck SLT has rear exhaust no from the side so don’t get a Darwin Award enjoying the Kicker System…..
You and I must have different definitions of the term “sounds amazing”.... I just had this installed and I think it sounds terrible. The sounds is very flat and has very little mid’s or high’s. It needs the ability to be tuned. I paid just over $700 dollars for the system and the light kit and I’ve never been so disappointed with a purchase in my life. The cool factor scores a 10, but the audio quality scores very low. This thing belongs on a child’s power wheel, NOT on a $70-80k truck. Save your money and just buy you a nice Bluetooth speaker to plug into the outlet in the bed.
@@EstevanBonilla This isn’t the powered sub that I’m referring to. It’s the kicker speaker system that is in the Multi-pro tailgate as an option on the GMC’s.
I just got my 24 AT4X 2500HD, kicker wasnt on the sticker but its on my truck and let me tell you its not worth $800. I got it for free so im not going to complain, but believe me a $20 portable bluetooth is better then this. and another thing since I connected it to my phone, now everytime I drop the tailgate it starts playing music all on its own, kindve weird when your loading stuff at home depot and your playlist kicks in….
Tried these out today, sound quality on the speakers is pretty terrible. Pretty cool when you just wanna hang out with family or friends and have some music playing in the background though
Has usb and aux outlets and phone charger next to radio also bluetooth has a 100ft radius on this vehicle you dont have to leave your phone with vehicle
I am trying to play the music off of my device on top the kicker and my device is connected to it but it will not play the music loud it is still playing off of my device. What’s the next step to that ?

you probably dont give a shit but if you are stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all the new movies and series on instaflixxer. Have been binge watching with my girlfriend for the last few days =)
For $500 you can get a JBL party speaker that blows away that speaker system, and it’s not married to truck. That’s an embarrassment of a kicker speaker.
NOPE. Not that price for a Kicker system, lol .... I can already tell you it's going to sound flat, no low-end, and mid-range is going to be crackly at best.
Too bad you can't use it for a work truck or anything work related because you'd be too worried about damaging all the f****** speakers and stupid s***. And all the technology what happened to the simple good old days or you just had a truck it ran and drove and that's it. No one wants a speaker system in Thier tailgate. Why not just roll down the windows and blast the stereo???? So stupid. But yet people buy it. Even know it costs thousands extra.😂😅😂 Getting way too fancy there's nothing wrong with just a tailgate that drops down I don't know why you got to add all this s*** man make the truck better make the engine better make the suspension better make it hold more weight do anything spend more money in that area. 12 hours without turning truck on
