When I first started the video, I didn’t know my playback speed was on 0.75 and I was like….has Jessica been drinking? Why is she talking so slow 🤣 I fixed it y’all, crisis averted 😂
Every zoo has animals. What makes the San Diego Zoo special is the plants. The landscaping is stunning with plants from all over the world. You walk through trails in canyons and feel like you are in a jungle. There are beautiful multi level aviaries with water falls. There are different environments up and down all the trails. You can get lost and have no idea where you are and that is part of the fun.
The fact is San Diego Zoo is not only a zoo but a botanical garden.
We took my oldest daughter there when she was 9 months old. 33 years later we still laugh about her discovery of her fingers on that trip. Her fingers got more attention than the animals.
Watching TTTV videos is always risky because I know I’m going to want to book a trip wherever it is you guys are exploring 😫 you always look like you’re having the most fun 💛 thanks for sharing with us
The landscaping is what makes the SD Zoo great. Because of the climate they can grow plants are from all over the world.
Cute that Jessica and her brother have the same facial expressions when talking about the birds.
I can’t remember because I haven’t been to the San Diego zoo in forever but there’s a route you can take where either the chair lift or the bus tour drops you off at the top allowing you to walk down and hit all the animals, ride back up and go down the other direction and hit all the other animals.
It’s been cool to watch vlogs of where I grew up! I’ve never been to Disney World, but Disneyland was my back yard!

When we moved to Omaha a couple of years ago, we kept hearing about the zoo. It’s like they’re jewel haha it’s actually beat out the San Diego zoo for being the best zoo for a few years! Parts of it remind me of animal kingdom actually! If you’re ever out this way, you definitely have to check it out!

San Diego Zoo and Safari park is my absolute favorite.
The San Diego zoo is pretty cool BUT have you ever been to the St. Louis zoo?!?! It’s just as cool

Does Gigi have a little pressed penny book for her pennies? I had one when I was a kid, and I love looking back through them as an adult!
I was more fascinated by the plants at SDZ than the animals, being from the Midwest there were things I’ve never seen before!
There are so many types of plants there and I appreciate that a lot of them have signs with their names. 🌱

My favorite zoo, my daughter and I once did a 5k through there, then went back in and walked around. We couldn't walk for a few days afterwards.
Been to many zoos around the country including San Diego zoo. I have to say Cleveland Zoo and Botanical garden and Columbus zoo ( Jack Hanna) are right up there.
We spent all day there a few years ago, it’s just such an awesome zoo!!

You should go to the safari park also, and do the campout!
I’m in San Diego and would actually recommend San Diego Zoo’s Wild Animal Park in Escondido over the actual San Diego Zoo. Check it out!
I still call if the Wild Animal Park, too! My favorite part of the park is the cheetah run. I love that the cheetah has a dog friend. 🐆🐕
Hoping you did the Safari Park, if not, add that to your bucket list so you can do the Cheetah experience!
Omaha, Henry Doorly!
The hills were not conducive to a wheelchair so we took the transportation around the zoo when we were there in 2019
Seeing that burger made my stomach hurt for you!
I always wanted to go go this zoo so bad! Henry Doorly in Omaha Nebraska is so much better!
When did you guys get a drone?
I have annual passes and find the safari park to be far better than the zoo. They have more things for the kids to play and more animals to see. They both are awesome though.
