The rock textures on the floating islands look too repetitive to me, they need to do something to make it look less dull.
Am the only happy it's a far cry clone? I mean far cry isn't the greatest but I always enjoy them. Definitely picking this up
Frankly making it far cry seven but on Pandora is probably the smartest way to go. For years one of the best licensed game makers was raven software. They’ve been absorbed into the call of duty franchise but their approach was pretty simple: take an established genre of game and hammer the licensed product into it. And it worked. So they would take a typical dungeon crawler, top down, much like Diablo, plug-in some X-Men, and you get X-Men legends. Or they would take voyager, turn it into a first person shooter and you get voyager elite forces. Even X-Men origins Wolverine is basically 90% a god of war game (Greek era) starring wolverine. None of those are complaints, just observations.
Obviously some gameplay is the same but tbf its the world that really matters, i think they've done the world justice

Would be really cool if they implemented the classic Far Cry takedowns. I'd like to see how a fully grown Na'Vi would deal with the humans in hand to hand. Would also be nice to have realistic sighting mechanics for the weapons. But then again, I don't think the creative team is too happy with the Far Cry comparison XD
Would be fun if you could tear them limb from limb, but this game seems not to want to go that way.

I wasn't very interested in an Avatar game but I could be convinced to play a FarCry game with an Avatar skin. The season pass content worries me a bit but maybe I'll use some of my Ubisoft points for it before they remove them for good. Thanks for the video!

This is a far cry from Grand Theft Animal games.
I know a lot of people have been referring to this as Far Cry but blue people, most of the stuff I've seen in this game it could be any game really, it's just most of the people who know about this are coming from Far Cry. When I saw gameplay I thought more of Destiny, with the gear levels, the mounts are basically sparrows, the rarity in weapons, and even the base and mini-bosses so I think people are gonna go into the game thinking it's like another and will be very disappointed, and I know people are probably going to nitpick and talk about the spotting, that isn't in any other game they know, but Ghost recon wildlands have it so you or your friends can attack them, Most of the battlefield games have it same with COD, and the terrane reversal is definitely Dying light, it's all a matter of perspective and I think people should consider how they approach the game as to not disappoint themselves.
Far Cry, Avatar, modern AC...they all seem too similar.
Apart from environmental artists, it must be a little underwhelming, working at Ubi

nonsense, I've put 30 hours into this game its nothing like Far Cry. Its closer to Horizon Zero Dawn 2 with being able to fly an Ikran and Breath of the Wild with all the cooking you need to do. Far Cry games have always been Rambo simulators but in this game you are so fragile and die in three seconds.

Even an added minigame to something as tedious as gathering resources, how lame. I stopped playing FC long ago so this makes absolutely zero chance, but It looks nice though

Gamers can be confused with the open world and beauty comparison. Do you have things to do like Elden Ring? If you are playing the same capture of the base over and over again, the game is going to fail. The developers have a history of creating beautiful games with repetitive activities. I'll wait because I am exhausted from the expensive shitty unperforming half-done game where the developer needs multiple patches to fix their game.

It is not just a far cry skin game just because Ubisoft make both game and it is frist person and you can shoot wirh a assault rifle 🤦🏼♂️ it is much more then what i also played it some week ago for 2 hours amd just call it a far cry game wirh avatar skin is not true at all. And Eurogamer have not even played the game it is just gameplay someone have sendt to him. So saying it is a far cry reskin without trying the game out is just hilarious
All ubisoft does is make reskins of games that were already mediocre at best
