Looked like fun. Cool to see Wile E Coyote! Beautiful rock spires all around. The views are amazing! Crossing those snow fields can be dangerous. You navigated them well. I'll bet those river crossings were frigid! Nice job on the miles so far. Awesome trip. Have a great day.
Enjoyed the video Crow! Mosquitos- wow, you’re not kidding! Great views and hiking today… Texas Pass was another huge challenge- but not for Mike- lol! He can hike up those passes like a mountain goat! I guess you slide down the snow on the other side… planned or not. Hope you got a great night sleep. 👌👍👍⛰⛰
It really looks a great adventure and of course hard work. The fox looked so amazing and inquisitive. Those snow patches were extensive and really steep at times. Sliding saves time but I know how wet and chill that can be. Billy Lake looked so wonderful as you arrived alongside. I bet that stream was cold. Incredible views as you make your way across the plateau. Shame that the mozzies were so plentiful at your camp. Another great day.
What a tough day of hiking! And, yes, the mosquitos there are notorious! The two times I've been there were in September for the express purpose of avoiding them!
Every thing about Wind River Range is spectacular. I love it all, even those hard climbs up Texas & Jackass Passes. So glad you got to see it. Glad y’all didn’t catch a rock on your slide down Texas😂.
Sweet. Really enjoy your trip. Reminds me a lot of our few, very few trips in the Yosemite and Eastern Sierras. and some in the Colorado Ntl Park. Such beautiful scenery. Thank you.
Watching from the UK I'm constantly amazed with the scenery you guys walk through - and even more amazed than in the middle of that wilderness there is this narrow little path that winds it's way thorugh it. Lovely film sir.
Thanks so much for watching it! Yeah, this place to me is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. I was on sensory overload the whole time. However, one of my dream hikes is Scotland. I really want to see the highlands someday. My grandmother and her 7 siblings came over from Scotland to Paris Island when she was a girl in the 1920s
Only downside of that place…mosquitoes. The know you have experienced that in Colorado. When we would get to camp…I immediately got in my tent to stop the onslaught…😂✌️
I did that route in 2015 North to South. I would go again in a heartbeat. We didn’t know what we were doing and had no GPS or in reach. We just had some maps. It laid out pretty easy and we never had any issues. Took us 7 days.
Brad, that range is spectacular. This section was really stunning, but it looked challenging. Butt kicker is probably conservative! Yeah, its easy to break those poles, I did the same thing crossing a snow field in Utah... but you recovered, and made do with what you had. Thats what its all about. Going to DM you about our 2025 adventure so look for that. Great trip so far!
I would not be opening that tent either! Was it just a bad time of year or is it always like that? Hope you got the juice for day 3... going to go over and find out!
😂… Yeah, those mosquitoes were relentless. So, I think the summer months in Wyoming are simply mosquitoes haven. It didn’t bother me too bad…just something we had to deal with. 🙏
Man them blood suckers were no joke. They wanted you bad. A while back you did a review of a bug repeller. It was battery operated I can’t remember the name. Do you ever take it with you?

time and effort it must have taken. What a filming!
You are very kind! Appreciate it! It was so much fun making this series. Crow✌️
That hike out of Texas Pass was a butt kicker, but you can't beat the views. The mirror image off of Lonesome was my favorite.
What a day!
Was one of my favorite days of hiking…incredible challenge. Completely awesome! ✌️
What a tough day of hiking! And, yes, the mosquitos there are notorious! The two times I've been there were in September for the express purpose of avoiding them!

This is so good! The mosquitoes were crazy though. 🦑

@@ASTHECROWFLIESHIKING yeah, definitely experienced that in Colorado. Small price to pay for hiking in those landscapes.
DUDE yall were up there! So awesome man! Love how isolated it looks too! Stake to the rescue LOL
😂✌️

Cool seeing y’all at Pinhoti Fest today. ✌️
Yea I let you get away with getting a picture today can’t believe I did that. As usual always a pleasure to get to talk with you. Safe adventures.
😂🙏
Looks like it’s going great. Now you’re an official Wyoming Mountain Man!🙌
😂😂😂
Just spectacular! Really enjoying this hike. Looks like you are rocking the alpaca hoodie. What base layer?
Sometimes I think you act tired, but you prove to be a gazelle on trail. I think this trail may have actually tired you out. 😂🤙🍻
I was sick as a dog…elevation sickness for me. It was a rough day.✌️
@@ASTHECROWFLIESHIKING dang. That would be rough. You’re a beast!
Nope, just a tired old hiker…😂
