I just bought this kit because of this review and I'm a big fan of Gundam Seed series especially freedom models. The only thing I hate about this kit is the stickers on the wings.
Hi mecha in your opinion does it outpose the HG revive destiny gundam? Because most of the joint I see is similar to it🤔and I hope you would make a ranking vid for seed series gunpla including seed freedom kit😊just like you do with twfm gunpla for HG only if possible 😁
I might be skeptical but the first time I saw the silhouette, I thought that was Gundam Helios upgraded with upside down wings (which also upside down Freedom wings. So was it upside down or not??)
So do you think you'd review the Weapon and Armor Stand for the Full Armor Gundam Thunderbolt that had the extra weapons with it or have you already reviewed it?
I've built 2 HG Freedom variants now but i dint recall if they use PC or not. If they don't, then will kitbashing with its own variants face incompatibility?
I'm both excited to see the freedom movie and to eventually get this kit. But also disappointed that the mighty strike freedom replaces this amazing version of the freedom, I'm Mainly disappointed because the mighty strike freedom is just the strike freedom with different wings, different shoulders and a katana while this looks like a combination of the Destiny and the freedom with a great color scheme.
Hey Mecha, can you or anyone answer me your opinion on this? I know they're leaning more to plastic on plastic joints and I know it's structure is better than polycaps, BUT is it really 100% reliable? When I built a few modern HG the ball/socket joints started to have "Stress Marks" and that terrifies me. One example is the Blue Destiny 3 revive and the shoulder sockets easily has stress marks. Another is their 30 Min Missions with the same problem. Hell my Beyond Global Gundam's joint stressed and broken while stored safely in the box . I still lean towards polycaps since they don't "stress". I know some will say it's quality issue etc. and why not sand it down/heatgun, but this is BANDAI we're talking about, they expect their product to be flawless straight out of box. I never hear people talk about stress marks with plastic on plastic, so I want to know some opinions on plastic vs poly joints.
I think I'll wait for a Master Grade version display alongside my Freedom 2.0 and Strike Freedom. Hm...was there ever an MG Legend Gundam to go alongside the Destiny?
I love this model, except for the white stickers required to make the wings anime accurate. I wonder why they didn't do the white stripes on the wings the same way they did the part separation in that dragonar 1 that came out two years ago. Everything else is pretty much perfect for me, such a smooth build. The movie was wonderful, too. I'm glad I happened to be in Japan this weekend to watch it and buy the models. I would see them at a store one day and the next they'd be sold out.
30:3931:42 You're supposed to drop the plasma cannons even further by rotating its base inward towards the head along the axis of the wings, so that the cannon's hinges are on the side rather than lying flat like you demonstrated. That's why the cannons look weird in the video, instead of how it looks in the manual. Also noting that you made the exact same mistake with the HGCE Freedom Gundam review a while back.

Any other kit suggestions or mod suggestions? The theme is a red color scheme like an ace mobile suit of an army
(Red blue yellow color idea, planning blue for 105 dagger and yellow for astray)
why would the ginn be too old? if anything, i feel like the ginn would be perfect. specially if you kitbash it with other suits. like the arms and legs from something like a zaku or gouf or even go with stuff from zaft gundams, like the dreadnaught, savior or even the impulse.
@@marcosdheleno no old as in technologically inferior to the m1 and 105 dagger
Thats what i meant
@@a.p.studios8713 but that's the beauty of custom units.
and because seed is not like other universes, the gin is still a capable machine, even when faced against the daggers and the astrays, because neither has PS.
on the contrary, the ginn is actually more dangerous, because it doesnt use beam weaponry, since the daggers have nanolaminate coat.
also, the high mobility ginn, is basically a green version of the ginn.
and im pretty sure there are some ktis for the armored ginn(forgot its name) which is basically what you want to do.
@@marcosdheleno actually
You have a point
The 105 and m1 both dont have phase shift armor
Meaning that beam or not they are still weak to ballistic weaponry
Im gonna stick to the cgue hg (for aesthetic), paint in johnny ridden color or something (red and black go really good together), and arm it with missiles/gatlings
Thx!
@@a.p.studios8713 the cgue is a good choice, since it was made as a commander unit.
there is also, the ginn high maneuver type 2. which also comes with a cool shield and the katana(but the cgue has the gattling composite shield)
Was waiting eagerly for this review
You have a very small typo on the description. It reads "Freediom" so an extra "i" there. I know this is nitpicking but your video is so top notch on 4K, incredible detailed and complete that everything must be perfect :)
This is going to be incredible when they make a MG for it
I just bought this kit because of this review and I'm a big fan of Gundam Seed series especially freedom models. The only thing I hate about this kit is the stickers on the wings.
Yes i Want This New One!
But There's No All HG 1/144 Polycaps Anymore
That man Rising Freedom is doing that yamaguchi stance so hard you'd think he was a super robot
Hi mecha in your opinion does it outpose the HG revive destiny gundam? Because most of the joint I see is similar to it🤔and I hope you would make a ranking vid for seed series gunpla including seed freedom kit😊just like you do with twfm gunpla for HG only if possible 😁
Great review, definitely tempted to pick this kit up. What is that dspiae kit?
What an awesome kit!!!!! Any suggestions about the floppy floppy thing on the shield???
Looks awesome. Also I recently got the Dendrobium finished it in nine hours
I might be skeptical but the first time I saw the silhouette, I thought that was Gundam Helios upgraded with upside down wings (which also upside down Freedom wings. So was it upside down or not??)
The product quality is insane for a High Grade
Please review the hgce strike freedom Mecha Gaikotsu. I have the dx version and I want to see your opinion on the hgce SF
I wish MG had a discord server for the building community and channel fans! 👀
So do you think you'd review the Weapon and Armor Stand for the Full Armor Gundam Thunderbolt that had the extra weapons with it or have you already reviewed it?
this was my first gunpla kit
Can’t wait for a 1/100 scaled version
I've built 2 HG Freedom variants now but i dint recall if they use PC or not. If they don't, then will kitbashing with its own variants face incompatibility?
So... if you put the backpack on another gundam then it can transform too right?
Ok you've convinced me, this is the next kit that I'll buy
Yes
Im excited to see that dendrobrium video when it drops 👀
I'm both excited to see the freedom movie and to eventually get this kit. But also disappointed that the mighty strike freedom replaces this amazing version of the freedom, I'm Mainly disappointed because the mighty strike freedom is just the strike freedom with different wings, different shoulders and a katana while this looks like a combination of the Destiny and the freedom with a great color scheme.
I'll be Buying this kit when it's available.
I don't like the shoulders, could you swap its shoulders with the ones of the hgce strike freedom to see how it looks?
I just picked my own HG Rising Freedom from my local Game Stop.
I wonder if it's possible to kitbash some parts of Rising Freedom onto the HGCE Freedom?
It depends on if the joints will fit into the polycaps of the Freedom kit, I suppose.
I'm still in the process of building mine. Been taking it slow. seeing it in this video i FUCKING LOVE IT!!!!
I have to ask, are you planning on preorder the SHF Kira Yamato and Lacus Clyne?
Wait for a 3rd party to roll out custom decals for this specific kit if you don't want stickers. It's what i'd usually do.
The old HG Freedom is actually 1/144, the modern kits are 1/132, decision made by Bandai likely to prevent fragility issues
I think I'll wait for a Master Grade version display alongside my Freedom 2.0 and Strike Freedom. Hm...was there ever an MG Legend Gundam to go alongside the Destiny?
Gaikotsu could you help me decide that should I buy 4 hg or 1 mg kit i want to make my collection bigger so pls recommend 😅
Definitely, the wings look better without white stripe stickers.
Hey Mecha, will you paint that '04 Freedom?
Transformation of Rising Freedom MA Mode quite similar to Neo Bird Mode of MG Wing Gundam Zero EW Ver. Ka.
30:39 31:42 You're supposed to drop the plasma cannons even further by rotating its base inward towards the head along the axis of the wings, so that the cannon's hinges are on the side rather than lying flat like you demonstrated. That's why the cannons look weird in the video, instead of how it looks in the manual. Also noting that you made the exact same mistake with the HGCE Freedom Gundam review a while back.
it all started from Build Fighters when Bandai tries Mix n Match...combination of Freedom,Destiny and G Wing
