me being a black girl although we come in many shades I was starting to feel iffy when you'd talk about how dark some of the colors were but you really got me when you said "you see how the colors go from oh light, and then bam! dark its crazy." as if people with lighter skin tones are the only ones who shop for foundations. I'm sure you meant no harm and I'm not posting this comment to get this video off of UA-cam because it is very helpful just wanted to let you know some parts were kind of offensive
I think she meant there weren't really any good inbetween shades! There was just a kind of jump in the color range, don't think she meant anything by it

You right though. Like I felt the same way. Especially since we're the ones who usually have to settle for lighter shades cause companies don't make shades for our beautiful brown skin.
There are plenty of companies that sell products for darker skins. Nobody I know has a problem finding makeup that matches.
honey before all these brands that have been out for years just started making makeup (anastasia, kvd, maybeline etc.) for darker skin people, many of us struggled and still do today. im not saying that they're arent brands that dont make cosmetics for woc im saying its harder to find makeup products for us and very happy that the people you know could find cosmetics for thier skin but those plenty of people you know do not equal up to the women that still struggle with finding makeup designed for them. thanks :)

+Tamra Price lol no one suggested she was racist or had an intention to be offensive stop jumping to conclusions, her reaction to darker concealers was just confusing as they're just color suited for darker skin tones but she found the shocking for some reason on how dark they are against her white skin , it's not that deep but ok

JustJ8 but with highlight especially if it's a lot lighter can make it look a little lighter that's my trick if something is too dark for me
Definitely a Fair to Light, not a Medium. It's hard to tell from this video with her makeup on, but I would also say she has a Neutral undertone here, with a slight leaning towards the Golden side of neutral.

maybe, guys, its the simple fact of how shocked she was about the darker colours in the first place... medium is super dark? not your typical medium, maybe not for makeup for white folk. the whole very very dark, dang. dark is hella dark, dannng... only true in relevance to a white person. If at any point it occured to her during swatching that coloured folk exist and it's tailoring to everyone it definatley would not have been alarming for her or for us. Also the follow up Dangs in a tone that insinuates it's unthinkable or crazy. That's it really (at least for me).

You can get them at your local beauty supply. Not a Sally's. I mean a real beauty supply. I live in a urban area and there are a tone of them by me but they don't all carry the same stuff.
I dont normally comment randomly on youtubers channel but I only found your channel recently, and I have literally been obsessed (not in a creepy way hahha). I am super impressed with their range of deeper shades! And while they have added two new lighter ones, I feel like they could still do a couple more at that end if the spectrum as classic ivory is way too dark for me as an under eye concealer.

This was really helpful!! I've heard so many great things about these concealers and BB creams but wasn't sure what shade to buy. I'm really glad I waited for this video because unfortunately I don't think any of the shades are light enough for me. The lightest concealer looks a bit too dark, and the lightest BB cream like you said is DEFINITELY not light enough. Thank you so much for this! :)
Santa Fe Springs Swap Meet (in LA county and 20 min drive from Orange County) sells the LA girl concealer for 3 dollars and also the bb creams with testers! 😊
I use Classic Ivory and it does go on totally orange but then mellows out to even match my skin which is extremely fair. At first the colour in the tube scared me, but now I'm addicted. I wish they had a shade that I could highlight with, but most companies don't since it would basically look like white paint.

Hi, the lightest shade you can get is porcelain, and then i think its called light ivory then classic ivory.

I really hate " how" you react every time you mention a dark shade of color. Your emotion makes it sound distasteful or less desired and it appears that you bring much attention to how different it is to your own. You should sound the same for all of them. you make different sound bad. Outside of appearing borderline racial discriminatory towards colored people your personality is joyful and lively. You get me every time with these damn bloopers! hahaha.....I also got the LA Girl BB cream (as well as the concealer which is phenomenal and YES I totally know what you mean about Creamy Beige! I thought it would even be too orange/dark for me as a concealer but nope, it's magic!) Anyway but the BB Cream is absolutely amazing! I love it! I've been looking for something exactly like this for so so long! I've tried so many different kinds of foundations, bb creams, tinted moisturizers everything and the LA Girl BB Cream is the answer! I don't like foundation on me because I hate the feel of it on my skin, I don't like feeling a mask of makeup on my face all day. The LA Girl BB cream is weightless, I don't feel it on my skin AT ALL through out the day and it evens out my skin tone, exactly what I wanted. I love it! ....This swatch video was perfect btw! I've found LA Girl at Dollar Tree and a local beauty supply store! I was ecstatic to find the glazed lip paints at the beauty supply store. ALL of the shades!!

I have seen a few LA Girl products at Harmons beauty supply recently! They are a really good place to find hidden makeup gems!
They sell this in urban areas in " African American" hair or beauty supply stores.
I'm glad you told us where your necklaces were from because they're SO cute, I like that you got a different metal for each initial. So, I thought the LA Girl concealer was just hype, then I ordered the lightest shade, because I am pale, and it's amazing, so amazing. I've been using the Laura Mercier secret camouflage then first and blending it then on top LA girl with a little Rimmel Match Perfection in light or whichever one is the lightest color and setting with the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder on a damp beautyblender and it's heaven. So good, SO good, not to brag or anything, haha! I also ordered the BB cream off of Amazon in Fair and they sent me Deep, my husband thought it was a mud mask, haha. I think now seeing the swatches I'm gonna order Fair and Light and mix them to get a more neutral shade, idk I think they did a good job with the different variations of tones they have to offer. Oh, and you can find them on drugstore.com as well, there's lots of brands on there. Love ya girl!

I live in Florida and you can find LA girls cosmetics in the african american beauty supply stores owned by Asian people. Down here they are inexpensive stores that sale hair care products, hair extentions and some brands of makeup. Love your videos!!!!!

You can also get them on ebay! That's where I get mine, there is one that sells a 3 pack or 2 pack and you can pick your shades, I did that and its a lot cheaper.
I found the L.A. Girl concealers in a .99 cent store in AZ. They have all the shades and TESTERS! I found them for $2.50!! 😊

This video helped me so much to be able to pick out the correct color, i have this weird color on my face that even when i go get matched at the store it takes them a couple tries to get the correct color of foundation. I will agree on the not creasing though they are amazing and i wish they would sell them in Vegas. I actually went back to another concealer today to try and see the difference and i couldn't believe that my 20 plus dollar concealer caked all under my eyes and it rubbed off in a matter of 15 minutes that it took me to get to work!! i just ordered like 4 on-line so i don't run out!!!
