I made a video addressing my pronunciation of "Baudelaire" so please watch it if that's of concern to you. If not, and you don't let that bother you, thanks for watching the video. :) ua-cam.com/video/QpcS-9V_Dqo/v-deo.html
Man this is one of the most useful videos on UA-cam. I have been watching the series on Netflix and then it ends at a cliff hanger and I was dying to see what happens
wow dude this video has great information, but OH MY GOD why put a alarm sound over the most important information about the books? have you tried to watch your own videos? just plan horrible dude!
The sugar bowl probably has (WARNING) an apple core infused with horseradish, which fell out a long time ago. So basically, the sugar bowl is probably empty
Great review. All the basic plot points. No huge character spoilers. 👍 It was hard to hear you over the buzzer at the end though. Maybe just send the clock into the negative for future vids
Very good video. I’ve read all the books. So I can say you did a good job of relaying the most important parts of the story. Definitely could’ve done without that alarm. It was a struggle to understand what you were saying when it was going off, and it was just overall very irritating if I’m being honest. This is the first video of yours I’ve watched. So you may have taken it away for future videos already, but if not you definitely should. Otherwise, fantastic video!
The Quagmires were placed in Fowl Fountain in the Village of Fowl Devotees because Count Olaf and his troupe placed the Quagmires in his tower house at the top of his house. Then, he and his assistants build a fountain that looks like a crow so it fits in. They forced the Quagmires, or, maybe, they shoved them, in. Isadora, - the female Quagmire - since she writes poetry, wrote couplets and Duncan - the remaining male Quagmire - tied the couplets to the crow’s legs, since the crows, or, at least one of the crows, go on top of Fowl Fountain. As the crows fly, - and, no, it’s not “as the crow flies” - they drop the poems in the branches of Nevermore Tree, the tree outside Hector’s house. Isadora and Duncan tell the Baudelaires this whole story while they run out of the townspeople’s arms. Please, fix the mistakes if there are any. Also, I don't how you got through 7 books without addressing V.F.D. in the summaries.
I know every other comment on here is addressing the alarms, but I sincerely hope you amended this in your more recent uploads. Not only does it take away from the wonderful summary, but it actively harms people who have sensory processing issues. A simple visual countdown would suffice.
I read the Tenth book of the series so I know what happened. What Jacques meant by the surviver he didn't mean the Baudelaire parents, he meant Quigley. Quigley helps them get Sunny then goes into a submarine and meets Captain Widdershins.
This was such a good video until I heard that alarm. It’s like having diarrhea forced into my nose through a hose. It took me like three minutes to watch the final book description because your ridiculous blaring alarm completely obliterated everything you were saying.
I’m sorry; but, I couldn’t continue listening to your last explanation of the final book, because of the alarm buzzing. I’m going to take a look at your channel, and see if you address each book differently. You are good at describing things quickly; but, the alarm was just too much for this video.
WAT, REPTILE ROOM OBJECTION, THE BAUDELAIRES DIDN'T EVEN TELL UCLE MONTY, THEY DISCUSSED THAT STEPHANO WAS A BAD GUY, BUT MONTY THOUGHT THAT STEPHANO WAS A SPY, AND THEN HE GOT MURDERED. ps: I didn't read the books (#NETFLIX) but i know there are a few differences, and if this is one of them... YEET
What he forgot to mention is that Kit's daughter is named after the Baudelaires' mother - Beatrice. That's the last thing we learn in the series. And if you recall...all of Lemony Snicket's dedications were to this mysterious woman named Beatrice.

why can't you just say it correctly. i really want to like your videos, but i just can't. It is annoying.
Hoiii
Minute Book Reports in the 1st book you forgot about justice strauss
why did you use this alarm thing aaaaaaaaaaaa
I get it is for the challenge but a sticker or something would be fineee
That's a good idea. Maybe if I ever do this type of thing in the future. But I'd prefer to talk about the books without a time limit.
Carlos Henrique Mendes Torres
You explained it very well, but the alarm is very distracting. Good video though!
Thanks. I used the alarm to mark when I went over the one minute mark since that was the challenge. :)
Ya, i wish i could hear the end
Justice Strauss watching the first one:

Thanks for watching the video. Appreciate it.
I hope they elaborate more on The Great Unknown and what's in the sugar bowl on season 3 of the Netflix adaptation
The sugar bowl probably has (WARNING) an apple core infused with horseradish, which fell out a long time ago. So basically, the sugar bowl is probably empty
Didn’t really need the constant alarm ... Jesus

Idk what you said at the end which was unfortunate, cuz I watched this to find out how it ended but your buzzer kept going off
The serous of unfortunate events is my favorite serious I read. I so far read Book 1 through 10 and I need to read 3 more to finish the books
Serius, sorry that I spelled wrong!
Hope you have a chance to finish the series before season 3 of the Netflix show comes out. The series is good.
Logan it’s spelled series. Lol. So close. XD
I enjoyed this video very well
A great use of time
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it.
You recapped a lot in only a minute each

Holy shit grow up
The timing with the reptile room tho
the beaudelaires did end with a fortunate ending
Reason for them knowing why is basically Count Olaf came disguised as Detective Dupin and since he was in the village, the quagmires were also there.
Very fine description
Thanks. :)
ally diveley lol I see what you did there. “VFD”
did it ever cross your mind it would be difficult to listen to the end of a book when a loud ass horn is going off?
I thoroughly enjoyed these as a child
I'm so obsessed with the Baudelaire children.... I search up everything like vfd and what started the schism help ME 😤😶
The music is too loud
Great video!!! I love this!

@@MinuteBookReports it came out today
Honestly so mad that you used the buzzer sound when you ran out of time. Honestly, in what way did you think that was a good idea?
Why are people so bothered by the alarm
I love these book!
I'd make this video into a drinking game with how many times you said "Count Olaf"
That alarm explaining the last book ruined it
Could have done without the obnoxious loud sirens
Saw you comment on my video on this series, really like your style. Earned a sub.
Thanks. Appreciate it. :)
Loved the books loved the movie wishes I had netflix
How can you love the books and love the movie? Also, how can you hate the show

Hi why'd you quit making videos on this channel 😓😓😓😔😔😔 come back please

Two things, the alarm and the fact that "Baudilaire" is pronounced "Bow-Duh-Lair" not "Bod-Uh-Lair"
It's actually both ways. Depends on where you're from
Wait how did kit Snicket get pregnant please answer

thanks for the alarm
Can you please repost without the idiotic alarm sounds

Great vid I think a lot of people would disagree with me but I think the alarm was nice at the end of explaining it.
Thanks. I was trying something new, especially with setting a time limit.
Good idea that you did there

You need to pronounce their last names correctly
was i the only one extremely disappointed by the last book? i wanted the parents to be alive so bad :(
It's called "a series of unfortunate events" Lemony even says "look away"
What he forgot to mention is that Kit's daughter is named after the Baudelaires' mother - Beatrice. That's the last thing we learn in the series. And if you recall...all of Lemony Snicket's dedications were to this mysterious woman named Beatrice.
