I love what RP said about some bands who cited Zeppelin as their inspiration lacking sincerity and missing the point of what Zeppelin wanted to express. Its so true. I love his openess. ❤

Great interview that I've never heard before. It contains the most clear explanation as to why he has spoken in less than glowing terms, if at all, about The Honeydrippers album, in pretty much every interview he's given since. I never understood his seeming dislike for it, since I think it's fantastic on so many levels, but now I get it. Maybe he's lightened up since there are rumors of a deluxe version coming out soon. Thanks for posting.

Also speaking of Jimmy walking into the studio "He is the mist (looks at camera) you've stilll got it Jimmy". That was 1990 and the statement remains true in 2023.
