- A quick walk through El Paredon - the up and coming surfing town in Guatemala. Some say it´s the Bali of Guatemala, and some (many) hate that concept. Either way, it´s a very chilled beach town which is perfect for a nice getaway.

You'll get more views if you work on your diction. The very heavy Cockney? accent really makes it challenging to get everything combined with your fast speech and poor diction. On the plus side is your attitude which seem very natural and genuine.
1: Slow down and enunciate.
2: Always make sure your mouth is close to the mic, especially if there's a breeze. Using a foam windscreen on the mic would help hugely.
3: Never record on a hazy or cloudy day! It make everything look so drab.
I think you missed the point of this video.. its not for views, neither its a professional travel vlog. Its simply to show around to whoever is interested and as i said in the video, i only had 15 mins and it was completely unplanned :) If youre looking for a picture perfect video, im sure you can find them.
@@itselizabieta If you didn't care about views you wouldn't even post. Get real. Also do you want people to be able to understand you clearly? Probably. Slowing your speech down a touch and focusing on enunciation would be hugely helpful. Your attitude in the video is top caliber. You can build on that a lot. Though your attitude in your response shows an obstinate, prideful personality that doesn't listen to others. I guess you feel you know everything. Sadly that is not the case. You'll learn.

And always listen to it from people who come of as genuine and especially when I ask for it, here, I did not ask for it at all as there is not much that can be done with this quality whatsoever. and unfortunately I cannot even see any of your video examples. I really do mean that this is not for lots of views, The whole thing is a mess and an old file, but I still uploaded it simply for people who are in the same position as I was in before, who simply want to see what it’s like to walk around the streets of el paradon. I do video editing for work and trust me, there’s not much hope with this audio and so on, but as embarrassing as it could be, I posted it for whoever simply wants to see the sights. Take care and please have a think before you try to make someone feel bad next time by making yourself feel better x and most importantly, take note what the person is aiming for first of all :)

You say you're a video editor so why not just lay down an audio track on top with your clearly enunciated narration? No battle with the wind and you repeat until it's just right.
Most people should never even bother talking when shooting video. It takes their concentration away from the video. Plus later they'll probably have more to say as they have the whole day to draw from.

Calling it the Bali just takes away of the true meaning of Guatemalan culture and trying to force something that isn’t. This form of new tourism in Guatemala upsets locals!!
It was a joke - about the people that do call it that :)
