    After the recent horrendous experience I have had this last 8-10 days with both LG & SONOS this set up most definitely is worth considering - buying from top , high end manufactures like the ones I just mentioned & spending £1000's I have learned the customer service / customer care is absolutely awful from these so called leading manufactures - Thank you guy's @ shs for your continuing help & support .

    Not only has a projector replaced my living room TV as a main way to watch content, but I also have an Ultra Short Throw in my Primary Bedroom as well. I'm more a fan of having a little bit of image fading when the lights are on vs the OLED glare and reflections showing up in my super deep black scene in my favorite movie/game. Also, the aesthetic is way better than having this giant black mirror hanging on the wall all of the time. The pastel grey on the wall from the fixed frame projector screen is more appealing than reflections everywhere.
    Now my goal is to replace all flat panel TVs with some form of projector whether it be ultra short throw or long throw. Our guest bedroom is the last room in the house to lose the Flat Panel TV in favor of a UST. It's just a matter of time for me. Good video, you got a "like" from me.

    Love the rising screen, I have a xgimi horizon ultra with a 100inch pull down screen and the picture still impresses me every time I watch a movie.

    Great review, I've just installed this projector with a 100in screen, in a "dark room" (with an ATMOS surround sound system) , and I love it. In my opinion much better "movie" experience than a TV.

    that's the best thing people don't realise about projectors they don't hurt your eyes as much oled/ led or lcd they hit your eyes and damage them from the direct light from a TV is a blinder

    I’ve owned my AWOL 3500 for around 2 years now. Great projector. I’m using a 100” ALR screen. With 98” TVs from Sony, TCL And Hisense coming in under £5000 now I think I’ll be moving to one of those for the superior brightness and contrast.

    • @cordcuttercam
      @cordcuttercam 6 місяців тому +1

      Yeah , awol is superior to those

    • @FooFighter33
      @FooFighter33 6 місяців тому

      @@cordcuttercam No projector is superior to a tv what with their limited brightness and contrast levels. The only benefit they have is up to 150” screen for a much lower price.

    Did you prefer this or the Formovie Theater Premium?

  • @kellyb3375

    Good for someone that has a theater room, you still have to spend on a good screen, so you are talking 6k. Ill still with a 85 inch , which isnt much more than a 65, so st8ll under 2k.

    First of all, I think a TV must be much better than a screen and that’s a lot of money

    This generation has been the worst about 3D, so much that they’ve completely canceled it. I grew up loving it and what an experience to have in your own house. But just like the movies of this new generation they are getting exactly what they like. I never in my life thought I’d see such a bunch of whiny people when it comes to the glasses. It is what it is or nothing at all, so by all means it must be canceled completely. Honestly it’s one of the only reasons I’m getting this projector. I am fortunate to have almost every 3D movie ever made. It’s a part of tech, and until it got better at least we had Blu Ray and it was and is cool. But no, it’s been whined out of existence now. People should have a choice instead of nothing at all. Good lord it ticks me off. Whaaaa I have to wear the glasses. Wait until you hit a certain age you will be wearing them every minute of everyday, and the only time you will whine about them is when you lose them or sit on them. 😮😮😮

      Thank you! I absolutely 100% agree with everything you said. I could have written every word of this myself. Like you, I absolutely love 3D! I have over 300 3D movies. The fact that they no longer make 3D TV's absolutely pisses me off. I recently bought the exact system in this video after my 3D TV stopped working properly because projectors are the only way now to get 3D. I'm not complaining, I'm very thankful that projectors still support 3D. I just hope some day in the near future they will start offering 3D again on tv's. And I have absolutely no problem wearing 3D glasses! Why is this such a problem for so many people?!

    Don’t do it! Trust me, a tv is so much better and so much brighter. The only people that are using these screens or UA-camrs they get them for free and a few unlucky ones it fell for.

      Such an ignorant statement. The ultra short throw laser tv is taking mega market share from the LED TV’s that have been out for 30 years. I have this model with a 150” screen and it’s bright, vivid, immersive and makes your home into a cinematic experience that is hard to beat. You won’t watch the old school LED after enjoying the LTV 3000 from AWOL. I’ve experience it, Michael 4K hasn’t. It’s the fastest growing category in the home entertainment market.

      Won't beat or match her performance sure but I prefer projector because it won't blind me like a tv....it's worth less brightness. That doesn't hit directly
