Well, that first side fan is knackered......love it when I see people using high powered air, pushing fans to like 20'000RPM when they rated for like 500-1200RPM.....Just another reason why people that have no clue about computers and their components should stay well clear, or get advice first.
Excellent john no better way to clean that dust but with a air compressor great idea , and definitely also the hoover as you mentioned. Definitely have to get one. 💯
I use to just go to the gas station and use there air compressor for $1.00 to clean my PC but they changed the compressor to fill a tire with a built in metal pin that has to be pressed to use mind you no moisture came out of the hose.
Horror is what's lurking in your pc spike, I didn't mean for you to buy any more equipment 😆 I just thought I would highlight what I do to tackle dust in the pc.thanks for your comment 👌
A regulator / moisture trap is $20 tops - no moisture. Draining the tank daily, as in this video, is absolutely not enough to remove moisture. You need a good regulator anyway. You don't want to be blowing parts off your mobo at 150+psi. Canned air runs at about 100psi. I go way lower than that, around 30-50. And yeah, keep the fans still. Lots of "bad practice" in this vid.
I came to this video to get some good information. Instead, what I found was a complete amateur who has no idea how to do it correctly. If you are not even aware that the instructions in this video will damage your computer, then you have no business making instructional videos.
just a tip. you should hold the fans while you di this because it can damage the fan and when you hold it you can concentrate the air more of the fan.
stop the fans from spinning while cleaning. the quickest way to burn a fan up is to spin it the wrong direction while its off.
You kill the ventilators if you allow them to spin while cleaning.
ventilators? do you mean fans?!
@@cartanfan-youtube Yes!
@@hayabusaTravels ah ok swag
Have you considered using a folding table to work standing up?

Are u supposed to hold the fans in place while doing this?
@@purplecheddar7142 Yep, or you can put blockers in-between them so they cannot move but keeping your hands free too.
I use some of that blue painters tape to hold the fans in place while using air.
I use a FLAMETHROWER to clean mine
1:15 "stop finge stop switch underneath" surely it is a drain plug only and not a stop switch

Compressor air has moisture in it, this is a really bad practice. And yeah, keep the fans still
Hmm, if I left it to dry for 8-12 hours, I should be fine??

don't do this at home ! you'll break your fans
I have been doing this for years and never broke a fan
Just hold onto the fans with your fingers while you're doing it, it's not a big deal, been using a compressor to clean my PC for years.
