This looks like a very good fan for the task. I have a compressor that I use, but it's pack away in storage room, and it's annoying and big to get out every time, so I will get this blower and try it out. Good video 👍
Those super fine filters work but they cut down airflow. Get some 1/4 inch A/C foam pre-filter. Cut it to fit the front of your case and it's a done deal. When you clean it rinse it out and hang it to dry. The piece of filter I bought was big enough to cut 3 filters from. I chose the thicker stuff because I didn't want to take the chance of it getting sucked into a fan. It's just easier, and lets more air through. It does dim down the LED fans in the front a little but I don't care about them. I like them better dimmed to be honest.
wow thanks for this video seriously I was 2 hours deep into this rabbit hole thinking what’s the best way without spending a lot of money, $55 for this ain’t bad at all, for 15 years I used my dads air compressor in his garage to dust out my pc but I built a new one this year so I was so paranoid about water blowing out from it somehow…it’s like a motor air compressor from the 80s and I really wasn’t sure how the water trap system worked on it so $55 to be safe for $900 pc worth it lol

For anybody wondering you have to hold your fan down because when a fan spins up it creates electricity. It's basically just a generator. When an electric motor is spinning it is creating electricity.
Seeing this after purchase 6 hours ago Came to exactly same conclusion after tons of research I always avoid cordless unless absolute essential- there is no comparison in power - high strength cordless are always very expensive
Holding the fan blades is needed because fans function as generators when spun and supply current back to the MB, which can damage it, its not related to what type of duster you use.

I clicked off about 5 different videos about electric dusters because in the first 5 seconds the collection of words "I was sent this" was said. Hey there! Thanks for sharing your detailed review of the XPOWER A-2S Electric Air Duster. It's clear that you're really impressed with its performance and build quality. I've been thinking about getting an electric air duster for my PC as well, and your review has convinced me that the XPOWER A-2S is a great choice. I also appreciate your tips on positive air pressure and using fine mesh fan filters. It's good to know that these measures can help keep dust out of your PC and reduce the need for frequent cleaning. One question I have is, did you experience any issues with static electricity while using the XPOWER A-2S on your PC components? I've heard some concerns about that with electric dusters, so I'd love to hear your experience. Overall, thanks for the informative review, and I'll definitely consider getting the XPOWER A-2S for my PC cleaning needs.
I got one of these and it performs fantastic. It's got plenty of power to clean out the pc, other electronics, the rats nest of wires behind the electronics, blinds, and behind furniture. The cord becomes a nuissance when used a lot, so I replaced it with a small battery blower from home depot.
Nah bro the placement of that kiddie ass vacuum at 06:25 was a excellent troll move and good sarcasm given how serious and high quality this vid is!... Good move sir. Good move😏
Air duster are a good solution for save money and clean well the case. Anyway as I advice usually there are some brands with really good air filter and built to be more dust proof than others. Put filter in front of fan is good but dust will come from other small holes in case. Some case have good filter as your all in the front, top and bottom of case plus back vents are closed to minimize dust to enter PC. Usually these case are more expensive.
About holding the fans, I killed most of my case fans and all my GPU fans by allowing them to spin faster than they're supposed to, while cleaning it with a leaf blower. You derfinitely wanna follow the tip of JSyntax and hold them shits down while blowing out your PC. *EDIT: You probably shouldn't use a leaf blower to clean your office in the first place.
@@JamieDelour I think you’re the only person that would assume that, the title literally says REVIEW. Nothing about a comparison between multiple items 😂… I would like to have whatever common sense your smoking bud
The reason why you hold the fan so it doesnt over spin is several, 1, its probably not rated for the spin its about to receive neither forwards or backwards thus wearing it out quicker, 2, when you free spin a fan it can in some cases become a generator, and 3, because you want to clean the fan not watch it spin like your in the 1920s and seen a fan spin for the first time in your life. :D
the problem of fans spinning too fast from powerful air cleaning is not from any of those things you mentioned. What happens is that the electric motor in the fan (when spun by an external force) basically works in reverse like a mini generator. electric generators and motors are fundamentally the same device internally. So this problem can apply to all electromotors unlese they have spesific protection curcuits against it (reverse chrrent). So if you spin your 2000rpm fan up to 6000rpm with a powerful air stream then you may be sending a considerable amount of reverse current into the motherboards fan controller. If it bas no protection against reverse current then unsurprisingly it may be permanently damaged. Speeds way i excess of spec can also damage the fans bearings, although that takes some doing. It is unlikely to kill your whole motherboard, but that port and any other ports on the same control circuitry can cease working. Just so people don't get all paranoid about this - it takes a significant amount of rpm on a fan, usually sustained for a while, to do damage.
I always keep fan blades from spinning when cleaning with air. I don't want the fans to become little generators, feeding power back into the circuitry.
I kind of had a second thought to buy this based on the websites $100 valuation, however I looked on ebay and they're going for $50. That could be the price change from cad to usd, but even then it'd still be $70 usd if it were converted from 100 cad. so definitely cheaper on ebay and now i'm definitely buying it.
Thank you for this video! I ended up buying the A2 because the A2s isn't available :( I have to stick with just having the window open though, can't bring my PC outside :(
Thanks just got it and it is amazing.Relly nice peace with alot bits and it came even with nice bag it is super powerfull to really nice peace.Nice review.

I kept expecting dust to fly but it never happened. Really couldn't even tell if the item was turned on. Anytime components were shown clearly to show dust blowing off the fan, the fan was already clean. What kind of shenanigans are you trying to pull here?
Thank you, this was a useful video when comparing the models, ended up ordering this. Related, what's the handheld vaccum you use around 4:00? I'm looking for one of those too hahah, and again, a lot of chaff.
I’m a bit mixed on this idea. I wouldn’t recommend it too much, it could send dust deeper into the laptop. However, I’d maybe do it if I’m really lazy or if it’d void the warranty by opening it, most of the dust would probably be removed.
I’m sold on this. Any idea how this compares to its younger cousin, XPower A-2 Airrow Pro? I’m able to get it for 25% cheaper than the newer model A-2S.
smart it's sad some seller describe as 60000rpm, 40 mins battery yet delivered a lesser cordless air duster model that's just 35000rpm and just 20mins battery life (20 minutes is enough to clean buy they should be more honest). It's still best to pair it with a good vacuum cleaner, vacuum and blow is the surest way and then use the vacuum to prevent dusts flying from the air blower. God bless, Rev. 21:4
Now I need a canned air compressor to clean this air duster😂😂. Joking aside for beginner like me, google should recommend this instead of canned one for cleanning pc
I like how your never really allowed to hear the machine running to get a feel on how powerful the fan is from what i could hear over the loud voice over the blower didn't sound that powerful and from watch it blow air seems way weaker than the compress air can that he sprayed a few times
You have other videos. This device packs a punch. Air flow is powerful enough to clean up your PC case without damaging the components. Air cans just do not have that strong constant air flow. They even squirt some liquid from time to time and I do not want that on my motherboard or 2000$ GPU.
Completely understood when you said that corded was the way to go. Rechargeable lithium ion batteries are convenient but suck in the long run once their charge cycle comes to an end.

Id hold the fans down
Ali express I got the same duster for half the price. Same thing Amazon sellers are doing. Mine works great.
Sold! Thank you and sub’d 👍
Ty!
I always keep fan blades from spinning when cleaning with air.
I don't want the fans to become little generators, feeding power back into the circuitry.
Great point!
overwhelmed with choices to say the least!
i wish this had a brush adapter to be able to clean off fan blades a bit easier
Great point!
Thanks for this review.
Glad it was helpful!
I bought some generic POS on Amazon and it died after 6 months.
Ty! Ty!
Pretty sure the solution to too much dust is is "don't have animals".
it really is insane. We have a cat (love him to death) but man the dust is crazy.
After a year of owning the duster? How does it hold up?
Also does it get very hot after a minute of usage?
DIY option is to use a hairdryer. Make sure it has a cold function though.
Not so precise but yes. Hope it does not generate static
7:50 Alone said why I'm clicking buy now Just wanted to see it in action hahaha Cant choose between the 2s and just the 2 One has 2 attachments one has 9 I like 9 but I'm thinking 9 is for blowing up stuff ect not for what I'm using it for Cleaning my PC and Setup
Ty!
Which one would you recomend now on almost 2024?
Yes of course
I kept expecting dust to fly but it never happened.
Really couldn't even tell if the item was turned on.
Anytime components were shown clearly to show dust blowing off the fan, the fan was already clean.
What kind of shenanigans are you trying to pull here?
Seems like something ill need
Is there a 239volt one?
Welp you did it for me, guess I'll get this if it's still in stock
I looking for this!
Thank you, this was a useful video when comparing the models, ended up ordering this. Related, what's the handheld vaccum you use around 4:00? I'm looking for one of those too hahah, and again, a lot of chaff.
Tineco! I made a review
@@JSyntax I've heard of that one from when I was looking, was one of the better recommended ones, thank you I'll check out your review.
Que fuerza tiene ese airdusteR?
Is there any product out there right now that competes with the XPower A2?... High pressure air at the hand at an affordable price?
I tried a lot and honestly this is the best It Feels So premium in the hands
@@JSyntax Wonderful. Placed the order. Thank you so much!
Can it be used to clean laptop fan and vent without opening the back panel of laptop? I mean will it do the job?
I’m a bit mixed on this idea. I wouldn’t recommend it too much, it could send dust deeper into the laptop. However, I’d maybe do it if I’m really lazy or if it’d void the warranty by opening it, most of the dust would probably be removed.
I’m sold on this. Any idea how this compares to its younger cousin, XPower A-2 Airrow Pro? I’m able to get it for 25% cheaper than the newer model A-2S.
Their site that there isn't a abig difference other than the adapter for the nozal being updated!
Its really something how these things cost more than electric leaf blowers.
Compactness!
@@JSyntax I guess..
smart
it's sad some seller describe as 60000rpm, 40 mins battery yet delivered a lesser cordless air duster model that's just 35000rpm and just 20mins battery life (20 minutes is enough to clean buy they should be more honest).
Can we use blower instead of this?
Can i use the brushes to clean the motherboard etc?
Id avoid
7:07 how fast did that blower build up with that much debris in the filter?
What about a battery powered leaf blower ?
Like a Milwaukee M12 Cordless Compact Spot Blower (0852-20).
Great review. I eat my dust so the product isn't really for me. I've gotten so good at it that I can clean a PC in 5 minutes.
Great tip!
I like how your never really allowed to hear the machine running to get a feel on how powerful the fan is from what i could hear over the loud voice over the blower didn't sound that powerful and from watch it blow air seems way weaker than the compress air can that he sprayed a few times
I bought it. It f ing works. Never using a shitty can again.
You have other videos. This device packs a punch. Air flow is powerful enough to clean up your PC case without damaging the components. Air cans just do not have that strong constant air flow. They even squirt some liquid from time to time and I do not want that on my motherboard or 2000$ GPU.
