I enjoy watching your videos, thank you for taking your time, and showing how the entire bracelet is made. My family and friends wear the bracelets I have made, thanks to your videos.
Thank you so much for your video! I love the fact that you are showing how to do the bracelets on a jig with the buckles. I have been using a crochet hook to tie off and sometimes it is really hard so the tip about the fid is priceless to me. I'm so excited!
Made this bracelet a few days ago experimenting with the cobra stich, except I kept the red center strands in a straight line instead of letting them zigzag. Just thought I'd mention an alternative look. Great tutorial, thanks.
he did melt them together, if you want to different colors on the bracelet then yes you do have to do that, if you just want one solid color just double the length of the two colors combined
Thank you SO much for this video, I really enjoy making these bracelets. I haven't read to see if anyone has said this yet, but I love the design that turns out on the back of this, I'm in the middle of making one backwards now. (:
Watched both of your videos, they are so easy to follow. Thanks for taking your time and sharing your talents with others. I would like to know if you would share a video on how to make the jig you are using in your videos, I am assuming you made this yourself, and it is awesome. Thanks again, Mary
Yes, I do, I have found atleast 3 other designs that do not have a video for them I like and am planning on producing soon (currently on vacation). I am also continuously looking for good designs that do not have videos as well as experimenting to come up with my own originals that would make it into videos. Stay tuned :)
I comb the Web looking for new designs, knots, & weaves. I enjoyed the 2 designs you've posted and look for more. Your video tutorials are for unique designs and your production is very good although the sound is a bit low. Keep up the good work and thank you for giving credit where credit is due... very honorable.
Also a fid is a finishing tool for lace work, you can find some from Tandy Leather for leather work that works with paracord. Also you can find some instructables and I think some UA-cam videos on making them. I broke down aqnd ordered mine from Kevingg aka The Paracordist (link in discription). I would have rather not had to pay money to someone for them, considering you can make them yourself, but his are very good quality that would be hard to replicate at home.
Hmmm, Let me see if I can put into words, lol. When you tie, you would want to tie on jig, do a larks head on the "D" side, string up and around bar on other side and then start tying, once you finish and remove from the bar you should be left with loops to put the bar through once you take off your jig and got to put bracelet on wrist, Hope this helps :)
Thank you so much for this video and your other video on the Solomon's Heart bracelet. Your instructions on how to do these bracelets are the most clear and easy to follow that I have found on UA-cam. I have watched just about every instructional video on making paracord bracelets and yours are by far the best! You should make videos on basic one, two and three color bracelets for beginners. I have a question.....what is a fid and where do you get it? Thanks again! Kim
Thank you, I am trying to make good videos; watching other videos and seeing some of the mistakes that they are making, then I am attempting to make sure I do not make those mistakes. Right now I am focusing on making videos for designs that there are not currently videos for, some people have come up with very nice designs and I am just helping share them with the world, but I will visit on the basics in the near future. Thanks for the comment :)
My pleasure, yea sometimes the reverse is just as good as the front, lol. I am actually working on a video for a bracelet that is two sided, Thank you and stay tuned ...
I will give it to get one out once I get some free time, :) In the mean time learn how to make a diamond knot aka lanyard knot. Once you can make that put that on a loop of your desired bracelet size. Grab the middle of your color cords and start tying your pattern over the knot and loop that you made as if it were the two inner strands on jig, maybe try it with a cobra weave first so you can experiment and tweak it out, you can do it and good luck :)
No, You can leave the ends loose and tuck them when you get to the end ... hard to explain, I should be making a tips and tricks video soon. You could also just tie them off to one buckle and then run up and start at the other buckle.
The bracelet is for a 7 inch wrist, I add 1 1/14 - 1 1/2 inches extra to wrist measurement, so overall the bracelet length is about 8 1/4 including the buckle.
Do you have any videos where you show how you would make a bracelet with a tie like this one, or the Lightning Bolt with a D-shackle? I prefer to make all my bracelets with the D, but have a hard time translating how to make both ends work for that.
The needle you use from Wal-Mart is called a "cable needle" from the knitting department. Where can I purchase the paracord needles that you use to go under the loops at the end?
Why do people have to be jerks on youtube? Yes, he is a bit long winded. Whoop-de-doo. We all talk a lot at times. Is it because people are too scared to be jerks in person?
nice tutorial, no wasted time. just straight to the knots !!
thanks for the post !

Clever twist on the common solomon bar. I enjoyed this one and I frequent TIAT's channel. Haven't tied one in a while. This is definitely next.
