In the back of his manga he said that he wanted the people who have read his manga and play the game to be the hero of their own story/life so it was ironic that the way he died was the way he wanted us essentially to be heros
I loved the dedication you put into this video, the choice of music, the images, the search for information, despite the length you can't take your eyes off the screen. Even though I knew all the details about Takahashi's death were made public, hearing them from you moved me and is something that happens to me very sporadically. Thank you for this splendid video which truly pays homage to a man who positively influenced a huge number of individuals of my generation. May his art and his nobility of soul always remain to illuminate our lives.
Cheers, my good sir. He deserves a documentary. But this? This will more than do! His legacy is cemented. His impact is undeniable. He is The King of Games. The creator of a game I’ll always love. Good day, Duelists. As always… It’s Time To Duel!
Thanks! Appreciate the comment it helps push out the video more. This was actually just a small part of a yugioh tribute video I did the full is an hour long check it out if interested!
This is an incredible tribute video sir. Very informative, very respectful, and very well edited. I myself now have a yugioh card decal on my credit card in honor of Takahashi Sensei.
I find it disturbing that many of the biggest “yugiotubers” have not made a video about his passing atleast I couldn’t find on search but you have made a whole doc and deserve much more credit
Thanks for the kind words! I did see alot of videos talking about his passing when it happened but I don't think anyone made something extensive as I did. Nothing near the 1 hour mark atleast.
Once again nice job. The theme of Yu-Gi-Oh! that I found interesting was the dual personality and their radically different views. Yugi is a timid lad who nevertheless cares for his friends while his opposite is a firmly unbending game master who exhibits a ruthless streak especially in the manga. Be it making lethal bets or initiating deadly set ups for an opponent things get pretty hairy when he manifests.
@@LegendsAreLessons Your welcome! And yes the duality made this series memorable especially the jarring night/day difference. And compared to the toned down western adaptation the original really dived into some dark sections be it Yami Yugi's lethality or Mokuba having a literal serial killer do his bidding.
Brilliant videos G! Since the algorithm is doing you dirty I'd suggest posting atleast 1 or 2 videos a day and to make this easier you can do more short form content and even make more channels. But other then that awesome cinematic video👍💪🔥
Thanks! I am not sure why myself. Probably because the video is long. This is actually just one part of the full tribute video check out the other parts or the full video if you enjoyed this one
The original video I made was like 5 videos in 1 and so I will be releasing parts of it as separate videos since some may not watch a hour + video. Check out the full video below. ua-cam.com/video/mHCBoOrDMJI/v-deo.html

Well said. He was the embodiment of what he wanted others to be. Very inspiring.
@@LegendsAreLessons yep I agree

I’ve been playing/watching Yugioh since I was 6. When takahashi died, I thought my childhood was fading in more ways than one
That is a great way to put it. I think we all felt similar that is why it hit so hard.

Thanks for all the support my friend I appreciate it 🤝 I agree the duality was a great aspect of the series

@@manuelacosta9463 Yeah man agreed. The western variation is very toned down compared to the subbed version and manga.
