I think this is splitting hairs, As English is her second language such small mistakes could be acceptable. Have you ever think of yourself trying to speak and teach Spanish?
@@Biniam_Kelbesa It doesn't matter if you speak English as a second language; that's not an excuse for a teacher. There are professional teachers and linguistic researchers who speak ESL and still produce high-quality content. Work ethics require proper research and checks before producing educational materials. How many people have been affected by such poorly prepared content? In more serious professions like engineering, you would be held liable for teaching incorrect practices as a professional. Happy Holidays, dear Kevin & Liza ! Your lessons have been a highlight of my year. May your Christmas be merry and your New Year bring continued success and happiness.🎄🧑🎄✨🎆
You are the best because your videos are allowing us to learn from her mistakes alongside learning grammar rules, pronounciaton, and the right way of using words. Thanks❤❤❤❤
You're my new favorite English teacher! Forthright, professional, concise, no drama, no blinky flashy contents for views - just the juicy info needed for people like me, no more no less.
Kevin, I always look forward to your next video since I usually learn something new with them like in today’s video : the difference in pronunciation between provoke and provocative. 👍
The fake teachers left me confused, frustrated, and depressed because they made me confused about the grammar and learning of the English language.😢 Thank God I found this channel.❤ English for everyone with liza AND kevin
Marina should start paying Kevin and Liz for so much free English tips and personalized-tailored coaching to polish her English. I am serious. I would've genuinely appreciate this much hard work if my teachers had worked so meticulously with my English towards my improvement.
It doesn't sound a bit noisy I interrupt the speech of someone to correct her everything? It's completely impossible for a non-native speaker to think all the time with so much detail that showed up. I think that if someone understands the message that you're saying, that's enough. I'm Brazilian and I never had to think about too many details during my speech, it's like I drive or do something automatically.
I think this is splitting hairs, As English is her second language such small mistakes could be acceptable. Have you ever think of yourself trying to speak and teach Spanish? How can we even try to lern and advance our English speaking capabilities while you keep giving us a rocket 🚀 ? You push my buttons.
@Biniam_Kelbesa I don't think you understand. Speaking a second language and making mistakes is NOT wrong. What is wrong is teaching something that is not right in that language. Her English is not good enough for her to teach, make money, sell courses. She's just misleading people and that's not right
Kevin, in fact, the textbooks don't explain how to speak correctly, and she speaks better and makes fewer mistakes than many teachers from Spain, France, Germany, and India. Native speakers usually keep the correct pronunciation a secret. Thank you for sharing, well, maybe you shouldn't criticize so harshly. Love your lessons ❤
Sorry pal but I don't agree with you, that's to say, you're wrong about that pal; textbooks always teach you how to speak correctly by means of Grammar, I bet you learned English by using those textbooks and now that you've got a good knowledge of the language you say they're not useful. And you're also wrong about her speaking better and making fewer mistakes. You think that because of her speaking fast it means she's fluent, I'm sorry but it isn't so, on the contrary, that's the way she hides all the mistakes she makes. Speaking fast doesn't mean speaking fluently. I learned how to speak, understand, write and read English by using those textbooks, that's why I speak from experience but what helped me even more is (was) the fact that I was lucky 'cause I had the chance to travel to the USA and I lived over there for almost 10 years but that was a long time ago and I had a lot of practice but then I had to come back to my country that's why I'm subscribed to several channels and Kevin's channel is one of them in order to brush up on my English
let's look at today's reality, teachers don't know all the subtleties, but they teach successfully, native speakers themselves make terrible mistakes, there are levels of language learning that are excusable at one level, not acceptable at another...watch the videos of Dor Mann, and others
I don't think you could find these mistakes in her speech, but she has useful content and phrases, and you can always refine them, there by developing your skills
Sir, why is "a" or "the" sometimes not used before the word "part"? For instance, It's best to accept that some inconveniences are part and parcel of travel.
But English is another language and she should be used to using them since she's been living in the USA for a while. And the most important thing if she doesn't master the language as a native speaker does, she shouldn't be teaching it because she makes a whole lot of mistakes and teaches a whole lot of nonsense too.
She should learn then. I learned Japanese which uses particles that don't exist in English or Spanish which is my native language. I still learned how to use them and even though I make mistakes I do my best to correct my grammar
Well he isn't teaching a foreign language he can clearly not speak well. The problem with her is that she is misleading millions of people when she doesn't have what it takes to teach English.

He has been exposing that some English's Schools doesn't know English very well. It is unbelievable that many people permit to be deceived by them.
Thank you for giving us the correct meaning and pronunciation 😊😊
Thanks for the video. No teacher should ignore these details.

So true 😅
I'm thankful for your lessons. I've learned a lot
Thank you for exposing her nonsense. I am so sick of seeing her and other unqualified "so-called English teachers" on UA-cam!

Great explanation Kevin, glad to find a great teacher like you on youtube 😊
Your teaching is top notch ! ❤❤❤
I'd rather believe a native speaker. Very simple to understand explanations, thanks a lot.
She has made almost all the mentioned mistakes. But honestly I’ve distinctly heard “You’re gonna…”. All in all I appreciate the work in this video.
Great as always!
The fact that Marina offers courses making these mistakes is horrendous.
Exactly and that's the problem! If people are calling her out is because she is scamming and misleading people

19:13 Hello, Kevin. How do you find some special words, expressions from movies ?
I mean is there any web-site that helps with it ?
You can check PLAYPHRASEME to check phrases and vocabulary to see how they are used.
I think I've heard: "Let's call it a day, we'll finish tomorrow"
Definitely not the same thing.
Kevin , I love your videos!!!
Can you add more words while you're speaking?
Thank you Kevin.
