True. The speakers are very good at picking up micro details and pushing them forward, especially in the midrange. That drum tick is very clear anyway but I feel other sounds which are usually more muted in other setups being brought forward. That makes them very ""Direkt" but without becoming fatiguing. Vivid, clear, fast but relaxed at the same time

Around the same price I only have owned Spendor A5 and Wharfedale Jade5. Both amazing and can't go wrong with them. But it all depends on your room. Smaller room Spendor A5 is perfect
Hi! How many watt they want to play without lacking in bass department? SE tube amp el84 9watt is enough for "couch shaking" ? Or it will be enough for jazz and vocal only?
Hard to say. My Sugden is only 30 watts class A. I rarely go above 9 o clock. I tried it with a SET 10 watts tube amp and it filled the room with ease. And it's not an easy room to fill up at 40 m2 with 3.5 m ceiling and 2 big openings. Usually I stay at about 8 o clock for my casual, daily listening and the bass is solid. I don't know your amp but I always believe it's about quality. I also have 2 monoblocks of 120 watts each. The little Sugden sounds a whole lot nicer and as powerful as them.
My take is that there are no speakers at this moment, at this price, being so friendly with low powered amps and sounding this good. There is something in their tone, very special. And looks are not bad either. Other options would be from Klipsch. They make some good speakers. But going back to amp quality. I have here a short video with my Spendor A5, well known for being difficult at 84dB. And pretty small speakers. Combined with Sugden they have driven the room with ease, fullsom bass and everything. I know, audiophile demo on UA-cam is silly but you can get a sense of it Oh the Direkt can also handle power and big amplifiers, very versatile
The model I have would work a treat. Your amp is fantastic. But if budget allows I would go Klipsch Cornwall 3, second hand. You'll never want to return to a "normal" speaker again
@@housemasterjkm6332 hard to tell. But if you have a big room guess nothing will come closer in terms of fun, realism at any volume. Try finding a dealer not for buying but just listening to get an idea
