This is the McIntosh set-up I'm considering. I had the wonderful opportunity of listening to the McIntosh MA12000 and was utterly blown away. In fact I compared the MA12000 to the Accuphase E5000 integrated that same day and the McIntosh sounded significantly better - more musical and engaging! So if the MA12000 sounded this good and seeing that it's based on the MC462 amp and C2700 preamplifier, I can only imagine what these two separates will sound like live!

Inexplicably, the B&Ws sound boomy. Also, the timing doesn't quite feel right. Also, the soundstage is much narrower than is characteristic for this track. Very sorry, just being honest.
tens of thousands of dollars of sound system ... with an air conditioner in the same room ..? ... I hope you don't use it while the system is on ... for how much it could be silent, it wouldn't be enough not to interfer with sound

I think it too much bass in 100 hz, it brings this ``boomy`` sound, the Bowers & Wilkins 603 s2 sounds in my opinion much smoother
