Kazami Shiro was severely injured by the mysterious secret organization of Destron. However, with the cybernetic remodeling-surgery performed by Kamen Riders 1-Go and 2-Go, he was revived as Kamen Rider V3.

Over 40 years and I m not tired of watching V3, great plot, songs and background music are good. V3 is the still highest rating of Kamen Rider shows in history!....V3!
Along with Kikaider, this was part of my childhood growing up in Hawaii. Racing home after school watching Checkers and Pogo then switching the channel to 13 for Japanese superhero goodness.

Fact: During his popularity, V3 even got a study desk named after him, which also has a television advertisment to promote the said Rider V3 Desk.

Almost got ran over by car, his drink got poisoned,bombed on his training, poisoned in an ambulance, finally witnessing his family slaughtered only to be heavily wounded while saving his seniors. Kazami Shiro is the saddest Kamen Rider ever.
Even in manga version, the death of his family were shown in a brutal way......😰
I agree. All of the Kamen Riders have suffered some form of hardships or tragedies such as being forced into fighting evil or being experimented upon by villains but out of any Rider V3 would really be suffering from some extreme PTSD.

And in the end, he was even denied his revenge. But that ended up being for the better, as he learned the futility of it and embraced true heroism instead of anger.
Before black, v3 was super popular in the Showa era.
This series is still is. Black is popular do to the fact it returned for the rest of the late 80s and the return of horror and mystery, for a new generation (80s youth) and yes the suit design.
Like Jetman, For me V3 is over rated. I seen other characters did it better then V3(Ichigo, X, Stronger etc.) and the mask is so ugly. Hate the big middle pattern. This would return via ZO and J.

But Nigo served as the lead for a good chunk of the original series. As a matter of fact, he was created after Hiroshi Fujioka suffered a leg injury while shooting. Even in the opening credits after Ichigo's departure, Nigo is listed as simply "Kamen Rider."
70's Toku has such an irresistible charm to it. It's so cheesy and over the top but takes itself so seriously, it's such a joy to watch.
And they show murder so casually. While show in US wouldn't mention death.

It's my favorite rider, I watch it first time in the henshin fever page in Facebook.
When the opening of your TV show starts with Kamen Rider V3 riding Hurricane and then explosions, you know it can't get better than this!
The fact that Shiro Kazami was THE FIRST main rider to practically give up his humanity for machine just goes to show how intense this show goes sometimes.
Losing family (and indirectly bringing their killers into their lives) can cause people to lose their sense of humanity in the hopes of protecting humanity (as well as seeking revenge).
The show may not always highlight it that much, but all of these Kamen Riders are suffering, and they use that suffering to prevent others from suffering
The promotional shoot with Toei Spiderman is where learned of V3 and was shown off in a Toyfair magazine. Got hooked since.
A Univ. of Hawaii student in 1974 & 75 I remember students in the language lab changing this program from japanese to english. It was a big hit in the Hawaiian Islands.

Iwae! Shiro Kazami, the Jotaro Kujo of Showa kamen rider in that he was trained by the previous rider and then made more cameos in his era than any other rider did.
After years, I understand the meaning of the opening lyrics, well, the lyrics really reflect the figure of Kazami Shiro

Didn't know there was a Kamen Rider Universe just like there's an Arrowverse.
Hiroshi Miyauchi certainly is a Toku legend. The man seems to have been in everything.
Technically Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Metal Heroes, etc all exist in this universe so it`s a Tokusatsu Universe.
Basically all of Ishinomori's work exists in the same universe. As far as I know, most of Sentai takes place in the same universe, but Heisei and Reiwa Kamen are typically standalone except for Fourze.
Showa riders up until Black RX exists in the same universe. There’s even an “ishimoriverse” in Gorenger vs JAKQ, but after that as far as i know every sentai exists in the different universe. If you want to know more, look up Kamen Rider Stronger’s 7 Rider storyline, 5 Riders vs King Dark, and last 10 episodes of Black RX.
@@aleronhawk I consider all the Kamen Rider and Super Sentai to be in one universe or that`s what I feel it should be. It may create some problems but placing these in different universes would just feel isolated and these may just be separate shows with no connection whatsoever.
@@n.s4122 zenkaiger pretty much confirms that sentai universe exists separately from each other. In Gokaiger however, it could be considered exist in the vs universe where crossovers & vs happens. Hurricaneger 10 years after also exists in the universe where there's no sentai after / before hurricaneger. And of course there's kyuranger...

That was awesome. I first learned about V3 when I saw him in a picture with Supaidaman (Toei Spider-Man) and after that my interest grew. Great show. It's cool to see three Riders as a team. Gel-Shocker beware.

the sad thing is...since this channel only uploaded the first 2 eps of each Kamen Rider series, they skipped the debut of Nigo (the first instance where "Henshin" is uttered) and Riderman (The grandaddy of all edgy secondary riders).
I hope TOEI TOKUSATSU WORLD Channel can make an exception for those 2.
Watching all this showa era kamen rider really make me wish that kamen rider spirits manga would get animated.

Toei, you obviously know people in the West are fans of KR, just officially release the series already! And get the Sentai license back from Hasbro and release everything prior to Jetman, Hasbro isn’t going to release them for sure. Then release the Metal Heroes, then negotiate with Marvel and re-release Supidaman!
Heck, I’d pay $$ for subbed releases of everything on this channel!

Also, they have a DVD box set available through shout factory as well... just look it up on Amazon and u will find it.

There's technically already an official english subtitle dvd release of V3 by a company called Generation Kikaida but it's crazy expensive. Like $125 for a box set. Way too much for dvds.

Finally V3 got more Exposure outside of One American State.
It's actually really good though. The presentation is top notch, and the DVDs are loaded with hundreds of pages of trivia.

I watched a movie version of his origin. Quite disturbing I remember. He needs to be modified on the surgery table

Nice storyline . Shiro kazami the main character victim of destron assassination n fuel of vengeance cause of his family brutally murdered . He requested the riders to transform him to cyborg but the riders reluctant to do so. Shiro`s courage risked his life to saved the riders from destron trap until riders transformed him to V3
