I don’t know why but I get the feeling Felix and Pearl will always be besties, I see them gravitate towards each other all the time and it’s lovely. Pearl wanting a sibling to share with is so sweet, and makes perfect sense given that she is a triplet. You could have the older boys together (Evan, Otto and Felix) and the younger boys (Rufus and Henry) could share with Cosmo, then once Birdie is old enough she could join her sisters. You have such a beautiful family, I’ve been following since the triplets were tiny and I love how each of your children is unique and has their own little personality, I can see that you guys encourage each of your children to be their unique self and to embrace who they are as an individual. It’s clear how much time you both spend with each of your children and they are flourishing because of it!
Birdie flying down that slide at high speed and getting right back to go up again is the cutest thing
Sylvie and Cocos little “turn it off now” at the end was absolutely adorable! Their voices are so cute!
So anxious to see Pearl and Sylvie in the same bedroom and little BIRDIE won’t be long behind, she is another smart girl, 3 sisters , omg, cannot wait !

It's so nice that you enable the older kids to do classes and group acitivities outside of the home by themselves. I'm sure it's lots of fun and it gives them an opportunity to socialize and make experiences outside the family - even though they aren't lacking anything at home!

When you said that felix and Pearl also have sleepovers I realised how much of a middle child felix still is. Despite the triplets technically being the middle child now felix always has that closest age to the triplets of the older boys but also close to Evan and Otto. What a great bother.
He often kind of gets grouped with 'the older boys' because that way there are groups of three, but he's only a year older than the triplets really.

I have been following your wonderful family for several years now...since before you were pregnant with your twins.💖 I just wanted to comment on how I love how you both parent your children. You are both so kind & patient. You listen intently & value their input & opinions. Even if you have to tell one of your children "no" to something they want (which of course, you must do at times), you do it so calmly & kindly. The way you spoke with Pearl...asking if she'd like to room with Sylvie & validating her feelings about being in a room by herself, was so nice. I am a former preschool teacher & I wish all parents were like you both. 🩷 from America!

In UK we call the bibbed trousers ....Dungarees.... we have work overalls that are a all-in-one suit with sleeve and buttoned down the front.
Thats funny 😁 in germany we have a word with the same exact translation for it 😂 „Latzhose“ (Latz/Lätzchen= bib, Hose= trousers)
It makes sense to let Pearl and Sylvie share a room. But Sylvie might miss her twin brother. They are so close.

Yeah I'm not really sure about splitting up the multiples either! I think that one of the reasons why Pearl moved to her own room though was that she had a different sleeping routine than her brothers and it wasn't working out well for them anymore. I'm not a fan of putting kids together just because they share the same sex because that's just one part of their vast personality. All of that said, Chloe and Ro always seem incredibly considerate with all of their childrens needs and willing to try out different things until it suits them so I'm sure they'll find a good way for everyone!

i think sylvie and pearl sharing is a sweet idea. i have 3 sisters and i feel like it's a super special bond, so it would be really nice for them to spend extra time together to build that super close sister relationship despite having a fairly big age gap.

I am the only Girl in my Family. I have three Brothers. When I was a kid we all have our own rooms and I cant imagine to share my room. But Pearl is used to Share a room with Henry and Rufus so i can understand your descison to put Syilvie in there

It’s funny when you say overalls. We call them dungarees, overalls are what people like painters and decorators put over their clothes. I love the fact that we all speak English but you in Oz and the Americans have so much variation. As a random fact nerd I wonder if other languages have as much international variation of us. Given how bright your children are I am sure they will all develop their own areas of curiosity.
Yeah, my 90 year old dad called jeans dungarees, overalls were anything with straps.

Hygiene needs pearl approaching “preteen” years. I see since your children like sharing rooms. I think three in each room seems that your children are used to arrangement. Hygiene? What? They don't bathe or use the toilet in their rooms, they use the washroom for anything related to hygiene.
@@junbh2 I’m an only daughter. Hygiene is discrete. I mentioned “preteen”. When I approached 10. I was moved to my own room with my own bathroom. Im just saying puberty hitting . No no no sharing sex rooms. Suggesting three girls sharing room mates just seems better for Pearl as she’s the eldest female. Age ten upward no mixing sex shared rooms. It’s just better to teach model no cohabitating.

@@melsin1143 It would be understandable if she had a sister near her age, but for an eight year old to share with a two year old seems a bit challenging and lonely, even though they love each other. But she seems happy to try it and if it's too difficult they can always switch again. I feel like sharing with her brothers her own age seems more natural and more fun, but who knows. It could be fun this way for a little while.
I think, the rooms are to small to share with three Kids.

@@molls127 Maybe maybe not. One point that makes me think it's possible is that all their children are very close together in age except between the triplets and twins, and that was when she had her tubes tied if I recall. She always seems to get pregnant very quickly and easily, so unless they're doing something to try not to have another baby at the moment, it's easy to believe it might happen again. On the other hand, there are three very little ones now so they might not want another baby right away.
It might just be for Birdie or one of the twins sometimes if they aren't sleeping well though.

My kids like sharing rooms too. About 5 years ago, a concerned citizen asked me how my kids ever got alone time and I cracked up laughing. At that point in time, half of them would not even go to the bathroom alone.
