This was a great, relaxing video. I have never seen key west before and getting a little tour and some history about the area was really nice. Would definitely like to see more videos like this.

Glad to see you gave he E class a farewell run before it is replaced later this year. How about more wagon/estate car reviews? I've just bought my second E class estate and love it. Yes, I know it's going to be replaced by a new mini S-type but there is something about the old school solidity of the E class that really appeals to me. Plus it gets the new 220 BlueTEC engine with great mpg.
I also enjoy the format where your give a mini tour of a great place which really puts the car in a vacation context. Excellent stuff, more episodes lie this one please.

I enjoyed the E400 review, but I missed the exterior views and how you point out different features around the front, rear and engine areas. A full outside view is always nice as I dream about it in my garage!
I drive a w204 2011 great vehicle, I know you have to take things in increments but I am working my way up to the s63 loved your review on that!
Currently driving my W221 S550 4matic. This is our 8th Mercedes and absolutely the best. The thing I would like to see next from Mercedes is me in an S coupe ;-)

Very interested to see the upcoming GLS and excited on the review of the new GLE, the GLE500e seems very intriguing as it has over 400 horsepower and should be very efficient

As a Mercedes fan I have owned three GL's over the years and one E550 I've loved all of them. I recently purchased a 2015 GL 450 the new twin turbo V6 feels much more powerful than the old V8 would appreciate it if you would review one to see your opinion on it.
I have the 2016 SL550 and love the ride quality. But I also think it's a beautifully balanced GT; fast, good-handling and comfortable. I also have the C450; what a revelation. Real Jekyll and Hyde car. In comfort mode, it's a comfortable, low-key C. In Sport+ mode, it turns into a junior beast--visceral, sharp, loud and quite quick. Not as visceral as a C63, but actually more usable.
Love it. Reminds me of my last road trip from Miami to Key West in 2009. We had a very nice classic and mint 1984 Mercedes SEC 500 for a week and also took it to the Keys. I realy like your more philosophical look at cars and the industrie. You are kind of the Sokrates of Cars, given your Greek background.

MotoManTV You are more than welcome! I would love that. You really stand out with your channel. I am from Germany and did 8 years of advertising for Mercedes Benz, complete MB nut due to the various company cars I drove ;-) ! I saw new MBs way before anybody else outside of MB, it was a great time. We have a relative living in Miami Beach who also had a fantastic black AMG Version of the said SEC, a very special car, but he was understandably reluctant to lend it for the trip. You often use German words in your commentary, it that a new trend in the US or do speak the language? We like it for sure! Have fun and all the best.
mac stone Thanks for the kind words, Mac. That must have been a GREAT opportunity you had! Can't say that it is a trend in the US:) My background includes a dual major in University - one part with a focus on German. As part of that study, I lived in Munich and worked at BMW. Nothing glamorous - I was the guy working the assembly line. A truly AMAZING experience for a university student . . . still keep up my German to this day but judging by the looks on the faces of the Lufthansa flight crew this past week, it is not as good as it once was . . . :)
MotoManTV Oh, your "Flughafen" was very good. Yes, it was great, the hard part though was to keep your mouth shut about what you knew and saw, or your job would have been done for, haha. The first Maybach pictures fresh from the fotographer on my screen..... I can tell you! BMW? What a great student job. You can say "I built a Beamer"! Rumor has it the next E will be Mercedes' return to InLine6s, So I'm kinda excited for that ... Luckily we don't have to wait very long, The new E is scheduled for an NAIAS reveal next year.
Also, I'm kinda excited to see the new interior .... Hope they don't scale one up or down & give it its own special interior.
Chrysler & Volvo are the only ones I can think of besides Mercedes who made a big leap in interior design .... (I would've added Post-Bankruptcy Cadillac, but their interior designs are not OMG look at Gorgeous dashboard)

I'm looking forward to hear your opinion on the new BMW 7 series. I still don't think it's quiet as good as the S-class, but even as a Mercedes fan, I have to admit it's pretty damn close....But then again, it got there by being very SIMILAR to the S, so you were definitely by saying it will set a new direction for the next X years.
I'm looking forward to the new E Coupe in hopes of it being more distinct from the C Class. I drive a CLK500 and hate how similar it is to that generation C. The current E I felt was too similar to the last generation C and, while the new C is beautiful, I wish the E was one level above.

THE E Class in my view ill be what the SWB S Class was 5 years ago cuz the new C Class has more or less entered its segment in terms of luxury and with the S Class going all out creating a new segment for itself i think the next gen E Class will have to fill that void, but the car I'm most excited about even though no prototypes have been seen yet is the next Gen CLS I wanna see what they do with that. And keep the videos coming I love it and Oh!!!!! I drive an old 2003 C240 W203 BTW

Currently driving a GLA 45 AMG in Mountain Grey, my second Mercedes. Drives like a beast for its small size and limited weight. Has 26 more hp than this E 400 with just 2L and 4 cylinders compared to the E 400 3L TT V6. Distronic Plus came as standard in my car in Australia. Future car? Hopefully the next generation C 63 AMG S coupe.

I have the 2015 E400 coupe, really happy with the car, especially the lack of B-pillar makes it pretty special. Love the body, but the interior is rather dated, especially after trying out the s-class. Drove the new C-class, and I'm not quite sure the interior is so nice. There is lots of room for improvement, if the next E will be 90% of s-class looks, it would be another awesome car. As for the upcoming e-coupe, hoping it would be built on the e-class platform, since the c-class platform is rather smallish.

i want the design to be a more rounded but still boxy or angular
with sharp looking rims interior should be the same with a lot less plastic and materials like the cclass or the sclass
Currently I drive a w124 e class. that thing was one of them leaps we are witnessing now. I would like to see Mercedes bring the mechanical engineering to the front because sooner than later all the tech stuff will be ubiquitous.
Only 329 hp from a TT V6? That's good. This should be a durable car.
I feel like that point is over looked- not ringing an engines neck to produce gigantic horse power numbers is definitely a purposeful decision by Mercedes to allow for dependability, a trait that imo defines them!

At 9:40 you said you were at the southern most part of the USA. Granted, it is the furthest south in the continental USA at N24' 32." South Point Hawaii on the big island is 6 degrees further south at N18' 54."

I honestly hesitated to post the info, but since you are one of the best, if not the best, I thought it might not hurt to point it out. I thoroughly enjoy your videos and I admire your in depth knowledge. And, in reference to your Merc question, I have a 2005 E55 that I special ordered and have driven it daily since it was new. In the new E class, I would like to see availability of night view assist and maybe the dual screen in the S class. Maybe not the screen. Need to think about it.

What I would like to see in the E class is powertrain innovation - maybe some pure electric 200 mile range car or a diesel electric hybrid with some new transmission (enough of the 7g tronic). Interiors - Mercedes already has that nailed - no one is anywhere close.
Dongi So Mercedes may be one step ahead of us as of now . . . just drove a plethora of SUVs this past week in Germany. Many of them had the new 9 speed unit. The first we will see in the US will be the GLE 450 (ML replacement) followed by the GLE 450 Coupe. Dongi Funny you ask . . . One of the upcoming episodes from that shoot is the GLE 550e PHEV. So the headline is this: The Mercedes 3.0 L Twin Turbo V6 you know already. Add in a transmission mounted EV and the 7G DUAL CLUTCH transmission and . . . well, you're going to have to wait for the full episode to find out my thoughts . . .
