Before the face of the Picanto evolved through the years. When it was first launched under the first generation, it had a shy looking fascia. But in the second generation, its face became more aggressive and on the 3rd generation, it became more aggressive.

Kia Malaysia is selling this CAR for roughly PHP 615,000 for the AT version. Complete with hill assist, cruise control, backup camera $ sensor, android auto, all powered, fog lamps, DLRs, ABS w/ EBD. While the Kia Philippines variant is PHP 615,000 with comparable features to Suzuki Alto 800, with manual rear windows SMH . Kia Philippines is mocking the intelligence of the Filipino people.

@@HansLotap Ako din, balak ko bumili ng picanto kasi matibay chassis and interior, maganda tunog ng pinto kapag binagsak mo. Pero grabe ginawa nila sa Picanto 2018 PH specs. Manual rear windows at 600K++ tapos wala pang ABS. Sobrang stripped down. In the end bought the Suzuki Swift GL CVT 2019. 60K lang agwat pero tadtad na sa features at mas maluwag at maporma pa.

Not to mention Philippine version get only 1 (one!) airbag, no ABS and no stability control.
Same with KIA Indonesia some years ago. They sold the current gen Rio 1.4 for IDR 280.000.000 or about 980K peso without ABS, monochrome non touch screen radio headunit, and manual AC. But they made sunroof a standard feature 🤷.
Luckily, Indomobil (the company that manages Suzuki and Nissan here) bought KIA Indonesia, and their cars are better now. ABS, EBD, BA, Android auto/Apple car play, auto climate control, bigger MID, etc. are standard features on Rio.
They sell Picanto gen 3, Seltos (Turbo Petrol and Diesel), and Sonet too, which wasn't available before.

they changed it kasi dami nega comments.. and para meron sila maidagdag na update. kasi kung ibuhos mo lahat ng features... wala na sila pang upgrade. next time power windows na lahat yan...
Oo pinalitan nila. Kasi halatang garapalan na ginagawa nila. Mano.mano na nga ung likod tapos d pa touchscreen. Halatang sobrang ginugulangan na nila mga customer nila.
