MINNESOTA MENTIONED GRAAAAAAH
I love Piranha Plant
Ok, someone's gotta explain the American air dodge and Japanese DI to me.
Americans are too eager, so we tend to directional air dodge towards stage as a panic option (return to safety as fast as possible.) I haven’t heard of Japanese DI before but I assume its just godlike PERFECT (D)irectional (I)nfluence to live getting launched for much longer than bad/average DI.
@@lightspeedbeast Lol I feel so called out for that and is actually something I'm trying to teach myself when offstage. Never air dodge unless I'm really close to ledge or above the ledge offstage. And, also, when being launched to the point of almost touching the side blast zone. Then, I air dodge there, too. As for japanese DI, yeah, I already know what DI is and mine is pretty good. U telling me japanese players have like perfect DI just makes me wanna study them. Lol thanks for the info.
@@theshadowspider97 its a wide opinion of top global players that when they went to Japan, they witnessed a very high skill floor. Meaning that mannnny of the mid level players were still fundamentally sound and technically proficient, which also explains why traveling Japanese talent find themselves placing highly at foreign tournaments.
@@lightspeedbeast Wow, very interesting.
Plant mains unite!
Anyone know how he did the down b cancel thing?
Yeah I do a and b at the same time, releasing b and pressing a cancels at whatever distance you travel to
