Dropshot & Spallow - More Piranha Plant Tech [Smash Ultimate]

During Patch 4.0.0, the great Massive Hero Soccer Guy attempted to smite our beloved benevolent based potted Piranha Plant by removing the Strike Cancel, a technique even the gods feared. While the shadow assassination was successful, the Plant has remained undeterred in his efforts to conquer the Worlds of Light and Darkness.
For the Plant has more secrets hidden inside his gullet, in the form of his Ptooie special move. In this video we examine three of these secret techniques:
- The Dropshot
- The Spallow
- The Loss Shot

@@jeom3808 don't think so. although both dropshot and spallow require you to jump and go into the air, the horizontal distance you travel isn't particularly relevant. what does matter is when you throw ptooie in relation to when you hit the ground. so no, i don't think slingshot has any application in making these techs easier. just practice the inputs seen in the video a lot. eventually, you'll be able to do them, at least semi-consistently. Personally, I can do dropshot most of the times I try now, although personally I haven't actually bothered to learn spallow

#FForStrikeCancelling, I nailed frame-perfect platform end pivot grabs so I think I could do these inputs too. The first two look like glitches, even if they can change his neutral game.

I tried doing the drop shot in on my 10th try without even actually trying I actually was able to still pull it off. Now that I actually try it doesn’t work for me at all I hate when that kind of scenario happens

You can have a spallow ish thing if you do the 3 things and plant will l throw it at a really low angle and could surprise opponents. Also a bouncing spallow.

@Jigglytuff hmm okay well that's not too important compared to the two other techs. I did eventually get spallow and drop shot though, theyre incredibly hard to land though idk how much time I wanna put into them
