In all the interviews I’ve seen of Alpo he always plays the victim. He always avoids accountability.
He could actually gain some respect from the youth by admitting he was scared of doing all that time once he was caught.
After all, I thought it was about saving the youth. NOT saving his reputation.
To me it seems he wants all the glory that comes with selling drugs in the 80’s but none of the shame that comes with being a rat. Man up Alpo, you have the potential to change a lot of lives if you change your narrative.

1) The only reason people speak on Alpo and not Apple, or Wayne Perry is because they are not out here doing interviews talking about how they owned convertibles, ran the streets and are a man etc. They are wherever they are doing their time quietly.
The movie “Paid in Full” portrayed Apple as a piece of shit (rightfully so) and he didn’t come out publicly doing interviews trying to clear his name and proclaim he is “still a man”.
I do believe if he EVER comes out trying to proclaim he is anything other than a piece of shit, the masses will come for him too (as they should).
2) When trying to reach the youth you should NOT send mixed messages. Either the message should be “what I did was wrong” or “what I did was right” there should be no “buts”.
It seems what Alpo is doing in this interview is say “what he did was wrong BUT what about so and so , I’m still a man blah, blah blah”. You will NEVER reach the youth that way. It seems he only interested in saving his own reputation. Or in his own words “doing what he has to do for HIM”
3) Ask yourself this question. If Alpo truly thought the drug was evil back then why did he not just quit?

Jeff was a happy go lucky, warm and generous soul with an edge. His only flaw that I peeped was his being so comfortable in his skin he let too many people in his circle too easy. In time learning his true identity I see how that aspect had him surrounded by vipers and cobras but luckily he was a mongoose who knew how to fight.
