Adjusting the Rollers on Your Anlin Sliding Patio Door | Anlin Windows & Doors

If your sliding patio door is hard to slide while opening and closing, the rollers may need be to adjusted.
Open the door slightly and look at the reveal or gap between the door and the frame.
The roller adjustment screws are located on both ends at the bottom of the sliding patio door.
Use a Philips head screwdriver to adjust the roller adjustment screw. Do not use a screw gun and be careful not to strip the screw. Turn the roller adjustment screw clockwise to raise up the door. Turn the roller adjustment screw counterclockwise to lower down the door. Continue making adjustments until the gap or reveal between the door and the frame is even from top to bottom. Adjust the other roller adjustment screw if needed.
Check to see if the door is sliding smoothly. Repeat these steps if further adjustment is needed.
Routinely clean the track with a vacuum or wipe thoroughly with a damp towel to keep sliding patio doors operating smoothly.

Thanks! I could hardly open the door at all! After doing what the video said, I also took the door off completely (lift up over track) and was able to clean the track you can't get to on a daily basis, and it had at least a 1/4 " of dirt and hair in there which was also making the door stick and squeek. After I got all the dirt off the entire track, it works like a charm!

Need to advise people to lift the frame of door up to prevent stripping of the screw when making the adjustment because the weight of the door is on the screw when it is turn. Thx
My door frame is steel, with the glass, it is little bit heavy. Lifting the frame up while turning the screw is recommended. Thx

i dont have a upper screw in mine, i have a hole on both ends and only a screw at the bottom. how do i adjust that?

This really helped me fix my double roller door as it wasn't aligned properly and we had to hold it tight together to get it to lock. It's so much easier now after adjusting the rollers to get it to align. Locks easy and smoother as well. All thanks to this video tutorial.

What does one do if you run out of adjustment and sliding glass door is still not square? Had brand new door wall installed and needless to say they did a less than stellar job. Top of slider leans forward and roller is fully adjusted up and rear fully lowered. Now what?

My problem is the track cracked. Like the video, it is just thin plastic w/ a stainless steel cap. The moveable Anlin door is 47" wide and double-pane, so apparently too heavy for the track. We have rarely used that door, and much less since it got very hard to close from the broken track. Another Anlin door 37" wide was installed the same time ~2002 and its track is still OK. A lot of manufacturers used these same plastic tracks, but Anlin should have evaluated them more. I am looking for a smarter design to replace, but even getting the original track is proving tedious.

In south Africa the screws are retracted inside a hole.
Trying to find the screw head that's out of sight while also being hampered by a screw driver with a large wide handle. The handle causes the screw driver to enter the hole at an angle so you miss the target. This is because the door frame has a ledge which is higher than the hole.
I've simply given up and resigned myself to having a door thats not flush. A real pain.
