Cool patch to chew on! This is a neat way to do Note Influenced Probability. Me being a Probability nerd I’d probably add another layer after it decided which note to play to see if it’s going to play at all. And a slider to adjust this so you can go from “yes every note” to “maybe only a small chance to play”. Hope you’re having a good day, thanks for sharing your lunch with us, 😛 👍
Ya, yah! Adding a probabilistic rhythm pattern works great! The Vermona Melodicer does have a "rest" probability, which definitely makes for some cool patterns.
Kind of like what Shape Noise said, this is cool and interesting and a fun way to approach the creation of music :) and along with that I also agree that a rest feature could have brought this from what I might have called an ostinato (if we're looking at any given state, not the whole evolving thing, which is maybe a better way to look at it) to a melody.
Thanks for posting this. I recreated it and have it driving my Niagara particle system.
My favorite lunchtime series! This was really cool and I'm putting this in my tool box. Thank you for eating your salad.

Nice tool for composing music
12:37 How did you do that? You clicked a node and it opened up like it was a group.
