The Warning just released the Pepsi Center version so it’s hard for me to judge this fairly cause that blew my mind but it’s great to see Jesse having fun with FTF because he’s had chills every time he’s reacted to The Warning’s versions of Survive . He reacted to the Pepsi Center version today and I know he was nervous about the cover. No need they did it justice 🤘
Yeah that was awesome of Quinn. That type of attitude and gratitude along with her skills, you can see what a powerful front woman she's gonna be (and already is!).🤘
I've seen a lot FTF's work and probably enjoyed this as much as any of it. I especially like the way Quinn attacked the intro, and the way Jesse had her voice up in front of the mix. Jesse was pretty ambitious to sing this, but he's authentically having fun with it, and with FTF. It's pretty cool. Jonah needs a cowbell, but otherwise he's really holding his own! Aria's bass work is mixed a little low, at points, but what I heard was great.
Survive was the first TW song I ever heard and it was ahugecwow for me. This cover was also a big wow in that it brought even more energy and power to the song. Such a vibe! ❄️ ⚠️ ❤
Keep in mind that "introvert/extrovert" doesn't mean "has no social skills/has social skills". Introverts gain energy from being alone; interacting with people is draining. The more people an introvert has to deal with, the faster their emotional energy depletes. Conversely, extroverts "charge their batteries" by interacting with people. Being alone is draining for extroverts. I know PLENTY of introverts who can work a room like nobody's business. It's just that they spend the next 3 days at home alone with their cat & a book.
I'm not in any way shape or form a musician but IMO it was ok. It's hard to top DPA. But that's what I used to say about Metallica until the TW cover lol. With that being said, this is a testament of just how far DPA has come. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Great cover! I am a The Warning fan and although it feels kind'a funny to see this, it was a good performance! I guess I should feel good because they "my" band is being "covered" more and more!!
BTW I love that TW are inspiring many young people out there as they were inspired by other bands as Muse, Halestorm, Foo Fighters, Metallica, etc. etc.
Yes a very good job by Jesse and Freeze the Fall. Let's be honest though. Nothing touches the covers of TW's Enter Sandman And Foo fighters Pretender by TW ages 10, 13 and 15 it's totally Incredible.....Watch TW playing Survive at Ted Ex when they were 12 ,15 and 17 and you will be freaking amazed. Guaranteed.

No you're not in hot water... For me I think if you had not said you were probably going to get demoted by the TWA, I would have kept my mouth shut.. I really don't think they quite made this version their own. Now with Enter Sandman the TW turned that song upside down and sideways. With an ode to the original, but only at the end. Anyway please check out Ted Ex 2017 they play 3 songs and they also talk in between the songs. You will be surprised at how intelligent calm cool and collected they are. Very inspiring. Nice reaction. Survive is usually at or near the top of my favourites from TW and they did a great job with it, though maybe comparing it to what TW did to Enter Sandman is a bit excessive!!! Obviously the extra guitar makes it a lot “busier” and it seemed to me that there’s a bit of a faster tempo to it further into the song, but definitely one for the playlist.

Im guessing they didnt have enough time to practice the song and at the end playing that riff even though its an easy riif but it hard to sing the ohohoh playing that riff they are different melody the riff is more like stacato and the oh oh are more like legato so takes a lot of practice to do both
I can imagine it's incredibly difficult. Honestly I don't think it needs it. They give it to you in the first half so you get the taste you're looking for ❄️🤘🧸❄️
