Welcome to Part 2, 1:6 Body Modifications from:
"The Complete Guide to 1:6 Modeling"
presented by: M.A.S.S. = Mid Atlantic Sixth Scale
In this episode, I will be explaining how I modify a 1:6 body, to give a larger, more full range of motion to achieve more realistic poses of 1:6 figures.
This is a "How To" video, to show fellow modelers the process of moding figs, and not meant to be my final result...Just tips & tricks I have learned from fellow modelers from all around the world, and I would like to share with all of you.
My "Complete Guide to 1:6 Modeling" , will be a multi-part video toutorial showing how I do:
Head Sculpt Repaints
Body Mods
Poseing your Figures
Dioramas & Display Bases
Photgraphy & Lighting
This is not the "ONLY" way, just the way that works best for me.
Please Subscribe for future Videos in the series
...and thanks for visiting.

I lost your channel and have now found it again. This episode is great. Your body-modded figure looks so much better than the factory issue.
I want to make a long-torso type body and that means i have to added a lot of things under the chest of the figure. Thanks for your video, i got lots of infos. Great.
Thanks for the vids, I used to do a lot of modding on GW miniatures , and just recently got interested in 1/6 scale I'm super stoked to do this. Thinking of a zombie /survivalist scene. Again awesome videos
Thanks Ta24u...
I hope to have some of the newer tutorials I made, posted up soon...new camera, new software, and well...new learning curve. LOL
Good luck in your new 1:6 adventures, and thanks for stoping by to visit.
How do u Sculp muscles what kind of action figur that is
Excellent! I have many times noticed how impossible it is to get the body in a certain position... I am looking forward the third part.
Thanks korpikuus...
Part of the fun in this hobby, is shareing with friends.
Your videos are ALWAYS the best, and if this will help you get better poses, then that only means we will get even better videos from you...
I have this book 12-inch action figure and when they talk about weathering clothing they say you can use oil pastels and emery paper and i was wondering how you would go about doing that
klayer91 1st use the emery cloth to lightly "scuff" the clothing.
2nd Use the oil pastels like a crayon to color in the weathering in areas where there would be heavy soil.
3rd Go back over that oiled area with the emery cloth again to blend & erode the material & "soil" together, leaving a dirty worn-out look on the clothes.
Thanks for revealing this youtube video. I truly like the appearance of it a whole lot.
Awesome stuff! Looking forward to more!
Thanks...I hope to have the next episode finished soon.

Really great vid lots of helpful tips, thanks for taking the time to do it.
Pro trick : watch movies on Flixzone. Been using them for watching loads of movies these days.
@Hudson Porter yup, I've been watching on flixzone for since november myself :)
This was surprisingly entertaining
How do you take the body itself apart for painting? I cant find any vids out there on how to do this
Do you have any videos on painting a Hottoys neck ? I just want to touch up where the headsculpt has rubbed off the paint. Thanks
Thanks for the tip mate! That was an amazing video.
Amazing video, thanks for the tips bro!
Awesome video..
Awesome video brother!!! I have to do some of this one day.
Thanks man!
Its pretty easy, and gives great results.
Do you have foot mods I have feet with pegs that go on but don't fit on the leg or the pegs how can I dryer loosen or soften them up
For feet that have "pegs" or "posts" I drill out the bottom of the ankle and glue the peg/post into that hole, but allow the foot to move freely on the peg/post to make multi-poseing.
great video Mike!
I wonder if the same can be done with the Power team Elite figures, even though OSW had a tutorial, but I can't find it. also, can you make a tutorial to re-attach an dragon head sculpt?
Hi gijose95...I added a quick vid to show how I add & remove head sculpts on DML nudes here: ua-cam.com/video/E9UtKk-ilCI/v-deo.html
