It's crazy how difficult it is to pinpoint the moment his journal entries go from relatively normal to completely unhinged incel ranting. Even hearing them all side by side I still can't pick it out.
I feel like it starts out pretty extreme. In his first entry he’s already talking about the day a “real rain” comes around to wash away the filth. Generally speaking, most people who have reached the point of wishing bloody vengeance on society as a whole are already dancing on the periphery of extreme, in my opinion at least.
If you think it is difficult to pinpoint the exact "breaking point"....It is when she refused to take his calls. Listen to what he said. "I think I got stomach cancer. You're only as healthy as you feel." He obviously wasn't well, or at least wasn't feeling well. The very next journal entry, he had begun to vilify her, saying, "She is just like the others." This is Travis placing blame anywhere except on his own shoulders. He then (wrongly) projects his anger toward Palentine. All while trying to play Captain-Save-A-Ho with little Miss Foster. Betsy called it...The man was a walking contradiction.
Don’t make journalling about discipline, makes it feel more like a chore than something you want to do, you should journal when you need to get your thoughts and feelings out
no more destroyers of my body
Thanks for posting all of them in one video!!

“You’re only as healthy as you feel.” In my opinion, that’s the point.
they are all ranting, he was never normal

The Decline and Fall of a man ... Thank you for the montage 🙏
How did he fall? He became a hero.
@@Graham-j4o Very good point
Maybe because he had to suffer so much to prevail in the end, like an Aristotelian 'tragic hero'
“I think i got stomach cancer”

There is no contradiction that I can see.
Like, she literally was cold and distant.
Of course you don’t understand. How could anyone of you who have never once experienced loneliness possibly understand.
Beautiful video thank you for this
Don't even have the discipline to make journal entries. Maybe im just not interesting, but I respect the grind
