    As a massage therapist I appreciated this conversation! I actually received CST for a fall I had a few years ago, when I was getting headaches & seeing halos 😇 The CST helped immensely 🙏🏽

      Botox helps about 90% of migrainers. 5% receive no benefit, and in another 5% migraines become worse. I was in the last group. So you never know. It is a life changer for many. I am on the monoclonal injections now. I am reborn! It is Aimovig and I am so so so much better.

      @@thomtlc2 botox is a neurotoxin and those stats are not accurate. Ozone is safer. Migraines and any other symptom are warning systems in the body to alert you that something is wrong. Botox just mutes that alarm. But the issue is still there abz now it's allowed to manifest in other ways and continue to damage the body until you have another chronic illness. Botox does not deal with root cause. You can rid yourself of migraines without injecting poison into your body

      I had botox for treating migraines and it made a hugr difference to the amount of headaches I got. I think it's worth a try but it's not ideal putting poison into your head on a long term basis

    I appreciate your list of contraindications. I am interested in whether or not you feel/think these conditions would possibly benefit from CST holds that are not at the head? For instance - a sacral hold or holding at the feet or do you say it is just a blanket: No CST in these instances?

      ND are similar to MDs. 99% of you don't understand how the body works. You still have an allopathic view. Instead of a pill for every ill it's a supplement for every ill. you give petroleum based supplements that surpress the body and use one size fits all protcols and useless tests

    • @godsgirl4950
      @godsgirl4950 Рік тому

      @@gisp4622 you're generalizing A LOT. I'd say only 40% are like you describe, and it's the younger ones usually who were bought out by Big Pharma. The older traditional ones don't use one size fits all and useless tests or necessarily even give supplements. Don't condemn the entire professional. Just chose your ND wisely. Don't attack by saying they don't know the body. That's aggressive behaviour and kind of weird.

      I have suffered from migraines for well over a decade. I have also received CST from someone professionally trained and I did not notice any difference. It also costs around $200 per session from the lady I saw.
      Considering it didn't do anything, I'd say it was a a scam.

      There's quite a few signs such as speech failure, numbess on one side of the face. An giography MRA can be done to test blood vessels as well

      Tension relief & toxic buildup can even be released from the body by just simply laughing an that doesnt even require physical touch. Deep tissue & medications arent always necessary

    A lot of the answers he is giving is only from a biomechanical viewpoint. Understandable because of his background. Someone from a biodynamic practice might offer a different view because they have a more energetic modality. So his cranio sacral views are limited.

    Please do not allow a practitioner of any kind reach up between your legs this way. It is so inappropriate and unnecessary. There are other more appropriate angles to reach where he's going.

      If you are not comfortable.with that hand hold for release at the sacrum simply speak up. Your practitioner will not do it.

    • @michaela5107

      Hi! While I do agree on a level, I do think it’s important to acknowledge the power differential between the practitioner and client. I am a body worker myself and I have worked with many people (including other bodyworkers) who are “too polite” to speak up about things. While I do think there’s only so much you can do, it is not fully a one way street here. I have not watched the video yet but there should be a thorough consultation and informed consent given before the client is even touched, as well as regular checking in about how the client is feeling. As a shy person myself I know it makes a huge difference when the practitioner invites your feedback versus staying silent and letting you pipe up when you feel like it. Just based on my experience :)

      Its a part of the training, we dobt just open the legs an dive right in. There is communication back & forth not to mention anybody thats actually trained can tell when someone is uncomforta ble. Kind of a no brainer
