Tour Gulfstream’s New G600 Business Jet - AIN

- Gulfstream’s G600, the newest addition to its large-cabin fleet, made its public debut at the 2017 NBAA show in Las Vegas. The company revealed that the performance of the jet is better than initially expected. The test aircraft features a full production interior, and Tray Crow, director of interior design gave AIN a tour. FAA type certification is expected in 2018, with deliveries beginning later that year.

I've built interiors for Bombardier, this is Nice
This is incredible. The countertop, stone flooring, different temperature drawers(!) fantastic. I think the Bombardier 7000 with the stateroom in the back is pretty hard to beat though.

Best Gulfstream you can buy, super modern cockpit, range over 12 000 km at Mach 0.85 and it is 20 million cheaper than a G700 or Bombardier Global 7500. So if you don’t need the 14 000 km range of these 2 planes , the G600 is by far the best deal.

It looks awesome with enhanced instruments. The only thing I didn’t like was the side stick rather than having the yolk control.

The cool part is they are moving, power control sticks. One pilot can feel what the other is doing as they move and are not just pressure sensors as in other side stick aircraft. I’m driving a 550 now, I hope we upgrade !!

GS, still setting the standard in personal jets, although am a bit curious why they didn't use RR engines on the new line? The durability factor was one of the big selling points on the GS's previously.

Why would someone buy the g600 and not the g650? i'm confused as to whether the g600 actually fills a demand niche/gap beween the g550 and g650.

Its best to rent or lease a jet rather than to buy one if your doing less than 200 hours of flying...this is a fantastic jet though..it will be on the rent market by 2020 I suppose.
This plane does .9 mach. Slow to .85 mach, and get better range. Nice machine.

Yeah I highly doubt it. You're looking at 55m not including options not including crew, crew training, parts & stock to meet operating regulation standards, engineers, hangarage, likely an AoC, a C of A for it all in all would run you an initial of 65m - 75m depending on where you will be basing the aircraft. Upkeep is a whole other story that can go beyond that initial purchase price within the first 10 years. lolsoon
