Heya! My initial goal was to make it as accurate as possible, however. Due to my lack of knowledge in certain areas, a lack of certain plugins/instruments and the fact that I am not exactly a lore-expert. I decided that the focus was to include quite a bit more of my style than usual since afterall, this is a fan-theme. Not an official production for the game so forgive me if this wasn't the best nor the most accurate representation. I just wanted to revisit the idea of one of my most popular tracks about the Fatui Harbinger "Sandrone", follow up with another Harbinger and Arlecchino was the obvious choice due to the amount of new info/visuals about her. Regardless, I hope everyone enjoyed this fan-theme of mine, I've spent quite a long time on making sure it is the among the best I can deliver! Unfortunately, I probably have be inactive again due to the fact that I got a lot happening right now so ye, thank you everyone for your patience, I really appreciate it!
The intro phase feels so ominous yet depressing. Like we're not in a battle, we're at a funeral. Phase 1 quickly picks up, making it feel like its a performance and we're dancing rather than fighting. Then the transition phase. That kind of music is how Scaramouche described her. A cordial and graceful person but now that as the battle continued on and youre still not yet dead. She's grown annoyed, grown upset. Losing that grace and showing signs that she wants you out of her way. Finally with phase 2, I really couldnt come up with anything to say. It doesnt feel like a battle theme at all though, it feels like we're trying to do something. We're in a rush and on a time crunch. If we dont stop her, something terrible might happen. The latter half of it sounds more rewarding, seems like we feel like we have some hope to reach on to. To know we could actually win, but then that beat comes down like a piano crash. The Knave herself crushing the hope we had. Amazing new fantheme though! I could see this as Arlecchino holding someone hostage or hosting a show and we're the actors forced to play our role. Maybe I got a little bit *too* into this. It would be interesting that out of Fatui battles so far. This one we actually lost even if we 'won'. Its like we wont but at what cost feel.

Phase 2 I can personally see her getting very upset and desperate to get the MC out of her way. What I get from Phase 2 might sound a bit ridiculous, but hear me out. What I got from it was that we are fighting her but also trying to reason with her as the music doesn't sound...too bloodthirsty, I guess? haha *POTENTIAL SPOILER AHEAD* . . . . . . . From 8:35 to 10:04 I can imagine her starting to throw her anger and frustration at the MC and probably telling him/her how she has her own way of doing what she believes is right for her and her children and how the MC should just stop being a thorn in her side. Both of them (in my head at least) probably tried to reason with each other. From 10:05 Either their argument got very heated up while fighting, or Arlecchino finally had enough of MC and got enraged and lost all of her grace completely. A father who finally can't stand their child anymore. From 11:08 on, she's probably starting to have doubts about herself and her plan after MC has finally managed to get through her, but Arlecchino would still be stubborn but now shaken. From 11:18, she is reflecting on herself, wherever her plan is really the best or what the MC has said is right. 11:36 She is still adamant about her idea and has become angry in denial that she may be wrong. From 11:49 to 12:51 They continued to fight and argue, but Arlecchino is clearly losing her confidence, and her doubts about her plan have grown stronger. She is slowly starting to understand what the MC has said: that she might be dead wrong and that her way would bring way more harm than good. From 12:51 onward to the end. The last act of stubbornness from her came as she lashed out her anger once more, but finally the crack has been opened. This is what I get from Phase 2, and I do apologize for my grammar in advance; I'm still getting good at it.
The way I picture this fight going in the story is this: The Traveler, Arlecchino, Neuvillette, and Furina work together to try and save Fontaine from the prophecy coming true and after they do. Arrlecchino fights the Traveler to get the Gnosis
I'm a little late but I wish to share still: I feel like this is more of a test in a way, Arlecchino testing the traveler's morality to the factions they're in, but also testing whether or not they should be trusted, fearing that we would get in the way of helping he seeing as we're playing devil's advocate for both the archons and the fatui now. In the transition it feels like a fight for desperation, with the second phase sounding like an all or nothing plead more than anything. In a way it's like trying to beg the traveler to join Arlecchino's cause, ignoring the fact that she's 4th in the Fatui ranks, to potentially help the nation of hydro from collapsing in on itself into complete eradication.
This intro phase feels like a horror movie yet very creepy but depressing. At phase 1 It's kinda like attending to fight the Knave at the funeral place, making their final stand. For transformation phase goes insanity and terrifying changes beholds her. Truely love the final phase by the way I can't even describing most of it. I really hoping that the Knave shall be playable soon that we all been waiting for but I really love this fan made though..
Sounds like a clock ticking down the time at the intro, and the thing about Fontaine, there are a lot of clocks, I sense the Fontaine theme, but it's dark and ominous perfect for Arlecchino.
I really don't comment much on YT but damn I have to. I've been listening to these 13mins and 25 secs everyday for 3 weeks now and I can't let go of it. The effort you put into building the character and matching her with the music is pretty insane. The parts put together are a true story arc and I can feel every sword swing, every dash, f*** I can even see the look in Arlecchino's eyes while she's fighting when I listen to this!!! Another thing you've done wonderfully is the build up of the music. It goes from a very rythmic and impactful theme to a more soft but stressful melody, which makes a very coherent musical experience, and it even hints the stakes of the fight, the arena in which it takes place, the odds you have of winning this battle... you really managed to put the Arlecchino character as a whole in less than 14 mins of composition. BEAUTIFULLY DONE !
On the Sandrone battle theme vid, with each turn (intro-1st phase-transformation-2nd phase) the picture of her turns more, well, warm-toned. Like when in the intro phase it looked dark, depressing and more monochrome (the colors) it started turning more lively with each phase. As if at first she was indifferent to the fight, not caring much of it, and with each passkng second we dont drop dead, shes becoming more and more invested in the fight. Here, with Arlecchino, her picture is turning more sharp, her red eyes and everything. It looks like she is growing more and more angry with us. (Sorry if this makes no sense☠️)
It's refreshing to see tracks that don't lean onto the motif that much. It actually feels like a stand alone part and not an elogia cinerosa variation.
I try my best to give each of the Harbinger's here their own motif and variations as it isn't just about their involvement with the Fatui, but often, it's about their ambitions and themselves!
It feels so right, the intro a curtain raise to a horror theatric and the phases pieces to the suspense of massive revelation to the hero of the true evil they face. I mean she is apparently completely insane or at least psychotic according to our harbingers. So this is a perfect match
Just... can we take one second to talk about the transformation phase which sounds so terrifying and powerful at the same time so fitting for her dude hes a master at what hes doing no cap hands down great job❤❤
What if we have a duo fight with Arlecchino and Sandrone together? Hear me out... 1st phase giant Meka with Sandrone (Herrscher of Dominance type battle), 2nd phase Arlecchino together with Sandrone (similar to Coppelia and Coppelius) and last phase with Arlecchino going all out with a transformation. This will force the Traveler to get a power up to finally face the 3 last places that are said to have powers rivalling the gods.

This is phenomenal. I like Phase 2 the most in particular. I like how ambient you made it sound in certain parts. Making it sound like the fight was happening both on the surface and underwater. Like you were constantly going in and out of the waters fighting Arlecchino. I loved that touch if it was either intentional or not it was a phenomenal choice of composition in that regard. Love it! Maaan sorry I checked in on this a little late, I spent every day before scouring for your next theme! Gosh your Arlecchino theme feels so different and fresh from Sandrone, I absolutely love the second phase. 10:03 in particular is such a wicked take on the fatui motif that really gets the ruthlessness of the Harbinger. The guitars and drums harken well back to the aggressiveness of Childe, and she does seem like she'll fit that combat. Speaking of which, I'm also surprised by your attentiveness with using child-like instruments at 11:33 , given she's the director of the House of the Hearth. Overall the depth of your research really shows, and you've pretty much become one of my favorite genshin music creators. Looking forward to see more Harbingers!

The concept is nice, but to me it is too "delicate" for her. I really see her as a "Wolf in sheep's clothing", and I can't avoid imagining her character developing this way. Like a mastermind who manipulated everyone in Fontaine just to reach her goal. She's damn intimidating, and even when she's nice I don't feel comfortable. Her theme should be more "disturbing", but yeah this is my view and nothing more.
На самом деле мелодия получилось очень тонкой в плохом смысле! Зачастую моюно услышать только 2-3 слоя инструментов что не даёт полностью погрузится в атомсферу! Музыка босса не должна быть такой! Она должна с первого взгляда поглатить и не отпускать до конца! По большей части мне нравится выбор инструментов но мне не нравится их узкое применение настолько что местами даже были пробелы без какого либо звука а это недопустимо для таких произведений! В треке нехватает фоновых дорожек с акомпониментом ну или какие-то смычковые вещи которые могли бы закрыть паузы появляющиеся из-за низкого объема произведения ну а ещё хотелось бы услышать сольный иструментмкоторый выделялся бы на фоне тех что играли в произведени... На самом деле если слушать эту фантему сейчас то кажется что она не закончена! Не думай что мне не понравилась эта мелодия! она очень даже неплохая! Однако похвалить может любой но критику я считаю более важной обратной связью от подписчиков для своего развития!

Ur soundtracks are always the best for me momo, by far this is my fav after sandrone's theme, I would love to see more fatui related themes, very unique feelings and beats and everything related to each character, really captures their personalities so well, always gets me into tears : ' )

As someone who is most self-taught, making something like this while sticking to the main details we know about Arlecchino so far has been incredibly difficult especially since this is more orchestral focused than my Sandrone Fantheme which is tough because I am mainly an EDM producer haha. Maaan sorry I checked in on this a little late, I spent every day before scouring for your next theme! Gosh your Arlecchino theme feels so different and fresh from Sandrone, I absolutely love the second phase. 10:03 in particular is such a wicked take on the fatui motif that really gets the ruthlessness of the Harbinger. The guitars and drums harken well back to the aggressiveness of Childe, and she does seem like she'll fit that combat. Speaking of which, I'm also surprised by your attentiveness with using child-like instruments at 11:33 , given she's the director of the House of the Hearth. Overall the depth of your research really shows, and you've pretty much become one of my favorite genshin music creators. Looking forward to see more Harbingers!

The concept is nice, but to me it is too "delicate" for her. I really see her as a "Wolf in sheep's clothing", and I can't avoid imagining her character developing this way. Like a mastermind who manipulated everyone in Fontaine just to reach her goal. She's damn intimidating, and even when she's nice I don't feel comfortable.
Her theme should be more "disturbing", but yeah this is my view and nothing more.

На самом деле мелодия получилось очень тонкой в плохом смысле! Зачастую моюно услышать только 2-3 слоя инструментов что не даёт полностью погрузится в атомсферу! Музыка босса не должна быть такой! Она должна с первого взгляда поглатить и не отпускать до конца! По большей части мне нравится выбор инструментов но мне не нравится их узкое применение настолько что местами даже были пробелы без какого либо звука а это недопустимо для таких произведений! В треке нехватает фоновых дорожек с акомпониментом ну или какие-то смычковые вещи которые могли бы закрыть паузы появляющиеся из-за низкого объема произведения ну а ещё хотелось бы услышать сольный иструментмкоторый выделялся бы на фоне тех что играли в произведени... На самом деле если слушать эту фантему сейчас то кажется что она не закончена! Не думай что мне не понравилась эта мелодия! она очень даже неплохая! Однако похвалить может любой но критику я считаю более важной обратной связью от подписчиков для своего развития!
