Thanks for the wonderful analysis. I felt a lot of your frustrations watching Little Women, but I think your analysis made me see these women in a more thoughtful way. That being said, some of the actions Injoo does (carrying 2 billion won, going to her Aunt for apartments but not for Inhye's medical costs, accepting a blue rose from Won Sang-ah, drinking a blue liquid in Singapore) are so dumb to the point I was screaming at my screen. I feel like the ending was bittersweet, but realistic and practical. Injoo had to finally stop living for her sisters and live for herself (if she gets bored, she can always visit Jin Hwa-young in jail). Inkyung finally gets to travel abroad, study, and be with her love. And Inhye is finally free from her family and gets to be independent.
I think in hye’s breaking point was when her mom ran away with her Europe trip money. I feel in hye feels burdened with all the love she receives from her sisters because she sees them struggling to provide her basic needs and let’s not forget she goes to school where probably most students come from a rich background so she sees how the rich live and is faced with her reality everyday when she returns home. I think she thinks she is a burden to her sisters who struggle on daily basis.
I love this analysis!! and now it makes more sense why I relate to Injoo most. I know how detrimental having no money is - life or death. And that i would do anything for my family. And why I was always mad at inkyung - it sounded like catching the bad guy was something she wanted to “win” at with her stubborn moral compass. And Inhye I always wrote off as the selfish kid. They did such a wonderful job writing these characters!
I know right!! The best thing about the drama is how every role stayed true to their character throughout and they are relatable or at least understandable based on their individual stories

the ending didn't live up to the build up in my opinion, but I liked the growth and conclusions in the sisters
