It’s amazing how we’ve been fooled into believing that modern consumer products are a mysterious, unfixable black box, and that everything must be thrown away. These kind of videos are illuminating the black box and lifting the veil on the lie perpetrated by greedy corporations. These videos may even contribute to saving the planet. Thank you.
In my experience with micro controllers and various logic level ICs, Reset and Enable pins (usually labeled as RST and EN) are usually triggered by pulling the pin high or low. In this case I would have simply tried connecting pin 32 to ground and booting the phone to test. If that didn't work, I would have injected .5 or 1 Volt to the pin. Enable and Reset functions are never connected to a data line and since the APU is not on the line there is no chance to damage it. Let me know if you think this makes sense. Love your videos. Cheers!
Is there any way to find local repair techs who have taken your classes? I think it'd be great if you'd publish (with their permission) their names or business.
