So cool! Something to consider….
That's so awesome! I wish I had one!
You and me both simotales!
Hi mate amazing work, I think you need more music in your videos and a muffle mic to avoid wind. LOVE YOUR STUFF!!! Seeing the van go along the beach was cool, if it had some fun music it would be profesh! Also maybe an outro, tell us how you felt driving on the beach, catch you next time, etc. ❤❤❤
Thanks for the love! Yes the vids have certainly come a long way since this one! Check out some of my latest :)
Nice video Kev. I found I was bellying out on the beach constantly, once i did a torsion bar and shackle lift it hasn’t happened since. Capable vans considering what they are!
Thanks for your comment, yes I’ve done the shackles in the rear but haven’t touched the front yet, I’m waiting for new shocks to raise it up a little more and will put new wheels and tyres once mine wear out :)
Great Vid Kev.!! What size Rims and Wheels and Tyres are you running ??
Thanks Bluedog! I’m just running the tyres and wheels it came with when imported from Japan, the wheels are stock and the tyres are 195/80/15 snow rated tyres!
They’re a light truck tyre so they are super tough, that said I will be changing them soon when they reach the end of their useful life!
Is it possible to convert it into an optional 2wd and 4wd
I’m not really sure at this point, I do have a friend who is investigating a land cruiser prado part time transfer case conversion so maybeee that’s on the cards at a later point :)

Hi Kev. Could you tell me about the Shackle Upgrade..What to buy and what are they...Also what brand shcoks are you buying....Cheers !!!!
Hi bluedog, they are 2” raise shackles for a n70 hilux, they bolt right on!
I’ve bought ultima shocks, part numbers are 400788 rear and 400420 front, I’m just getting one more part delivered then I’ll be filming a full suspension upgrade video!
Excellent news Kev, I look forward to watching the Vid. Thanks for the info on the gear !!!!!!
Why not lifting it. And little bit bigger tires. All terrain tires is better the road tires
It does already have a small lift, but I have to park in an underground car park so I can’t lift it too much higher! I will get bigger and better tyres once these ones are worn out! :)

What tire pressure ?
About 18psi I think!
1gd-ftv?
Yes, newer engine in this one
@@VanLyf nice - having 6 gears also a massive improvement. Quite a few of these in NZ - but im looking for a narrow body/low roof with just a single slider door
