    Outstanding results, Steve. That car is one well engineered machine!

    So many small details you seem to be powering thru.
    Thanks for tip on the tape(s).
    One "tip" I learned with wiring is to stagger all the connections. That way the loom doesn't end up with lumps.
    Hope we will still be able to follow this once you let it loose to client for painting.

      You are welcome and I can't say what will happen after I am done with it and it is out of my hands.

    Awesome stuff! You remind me of an artisan Japanese swordsmith that spends the better part of a year making a single Samurai sword.
    Question: The old winged Charger Daytona cars had a gasket(rubber?) in the joint between the nose and fenders. Will this car have such a gasket in that location?

      @SteveMirabelli  22 дні тому +1

      There will be a 3/16" thick black plastic spacer.

    You cant start the car with the hood open? What is that about? Must be a way to disable that or trying to work on the engine would be interesting.

      I don't know what the idea is there but I know one thing I do not want to mess with the electrical system on this thing.

      @@SteveMirabelli That seems odd because you have have to start the engine when working on it from time to time. Are you sure its a kill switch and not a "hood open" warning light type deal?

    • @SteveMirabelli
      @SteveMirabelli  22 дні тому +1

      @MH-rb7lp no earthly clue. I just made it work like it did with the stock hood. No light under the hood so its not for that.

      @@SteveMirabelli I am going to have to look into this but I am almost certain it is for a "hood ajar" light.
