Great video! I'm looking into this rod for finesse bass and jerkbaits for bass and the bigger aggressive brown trout in my area. I was thinking its classification as a ML rod (that I hear acts a lot like a medium rod) would make it a good multispecies rod with a bass focus. Sound about right? Any tips on reel pairing with it? Suitable for kayak fishing? Thanks!!!

Honestly this rod is phenomenal. I've seen videos from big bass dreams of those guys landing some serious fish on this rod. I may do a follow up video in the fall when jerkbait season kicks off to see how it performs consistently on bigger class fish. I may even head to lake Ontario with it and try it out on some real footballs up there. You will absolutely love this rod though if you go with it.

I run between 10 and 15lb braid as my main line. On this set up I was using 15lb Berkley X9 braid with an 8lb tatsu fluorocarbon leader.
