41:35 I think the point is rook on a8 is now protected and if you take Qxf5+ he now has Nf6 - you still better, but only pawn up instead of exchange and pawn. Nice game! subscribed
Thank you, buddy! Yea i guess it is better that losing the rook but I dont know why it just didnt like the bishop sac at all. I thought it was a good move even if i do only get the bishop back i still won a pawn and made my opponent lose castling rights.
@@Redneckchessclub Oh, now i get you! I rewatched this part and its probably want you to play Qf3 instead of bishop sack. Here you threatening mate in 1 and rook on a8
41:34 I think you were getting mixed up between your moves and the opponent's on the analysis. Instead of your bishop sac, you could have threatened checkmate _and_ the rook without losing the bishop (Qa8). The analysis shows their bishop being offered and their queen now protects the rook. Yes, you can take the bishop but then their rook is safe.
yea i didnt see that in the game but I did get him to lose castling rights which i thought was still a win
red neck chess club, that sounds like somewhere that I belong
