Question: Why are you playing 15/10 and blitzing out moves to where you end up losing with more time on your clock than you started with? Use your time to think! Otherwise just play blitz. This comment is to your opponent.

yea the thinking though was that i also have a dark squared bishop and i was worried more about getting a queen than stopping him from threatening the pawns because if i had to sacrifice a bishop i could because I would be up a queen

Interestingly, black’s d5 knight was key. Put that knight on e7 instead and you’re back to winning after Qg4, since …f5 runs into Qh4 with a pretty mate threat and …Nf6 (another way to expel the queen) is impossible!

It’s a great opening that works well through the whole rating range.

I said they won’t lose the queen once you’ve gotten to that rating. But I do get the line where they lose the bishop and get their pawn structure destroyed. It’s just a really tricky line and that’s the potential trap that they can fall into.

You get your bishop to b3 which is exactly where you wanted it all along. The guy says right from the start that it's not gonna be high level. I have never played the vienna I have seen videos and stuff about it an have tried it but never been able to get it to work out for me. I really like the lines though that are tricky to navigate and leave a lot of room for your opponent to make a mistake

Instead of taking the queen and getting mated black should have taken the bishop and got his king safe since he’s still up the exchange after that.

Because Queen b5 check is a free knight. If they block with the knight pawn take knight if they take back Qc6 can lead to 2 checkmate.

yea the obvious moves that i take though usually turn out to be mistakes. every time i auto pilot a move i miss something
