Valuable contents! Great duo setup. This is why you stands out of the rest of the credit cards UA-camrs. Love the the Ritz/CSP and VX/Boundless setup. Not sure about Hilton setup and Big no Amex setup.
This is my new strategy. I just product changed to the Ritz. I have a few international trips this summer and I’m staying at Marriotts so I’ll use the airline credits on baggage, lounge access for my whole family, charge hotel purchases to the card, then next summer redeem my free night at the Disney Swan hotel, meanwhile using my Sapphire for my daily spend! This was very reassuring to come across this!
Love it! I saw that Amex Marriott biz card you can get 125k points or 5 free nights (50k /night). Think I’m gonna add that card for the 125k points. A super cheap way to buy points. Appreciate the comment!
Very interesting take. I never thought about having a duo centered around a hotel card. My personal setup is a bit too big for that but I think it could be a great set up for simplicity or someone that’s not working on a sub.
Yea absolutely. A lot of us are pretty far down the line with our card setup, but trying to give people some ideas and show even the advanced folks some workhorse cards/setups are still possible.
This was a great video! Trying to get people to join the ritz gang 😂 it really is so powerful, and making it a trio by adding a freedom for the CSP route or the savor one for the VX route makes it overpowered
If you're earning like 21x per marriott stay and transfer out to airlines at 3:1, you're still getting 7x on hotel stays at marriott which is still better than most cards
You mentioned that I can use the $50 Hotel credit from the Chase Preferred by buying a gift card? How can I do that? Can you walk me through the steps? My credit is expiring in two weeks already.
I think if you have business expenses like the CIP is geared towards, absolutely! And you could toss in a Freedom card to beef up some of the consumer spending categories.

Much appreciated! I’m at a Marriott in Cancun right now - figured the video was timely. Gotta use these points! Thanks again for the comment
PointsPlayTravel was the first one to mention this duo 8 months ago
I might have missed something, but the CSP doesn’t give lounge access (as your chart shows). It’s only the CSR
The Ritz Carlton card unlocks lounge access. Appreciate the comment!
@@beaunoonan510 thanks for the clarification.
Interesting take with the Marriott points and transferring them out 👍🏼 I think like you mentioned this could benefit many!
Glad it was helpful! Appreciate the comment - just trying to keep it real and show people some additional options.

Great points to consider... and music👍🏾
Appreciate that! And thanks for the comment!
Definitely something to consider. Thanks for the great info + video!

Absolutely!! A lot of creators are like ‘duh’ but my goal is to keep it real for everyone - even the ones that aren’t working on their CC setup daily.

That’s what’s up! And I know hotel points are valuable - especially how many it takes for good Marriott redemptions, but it’s a solid option.
@@beaunoonan510 Thanks for bringing this up. Changed how i view my marriott points for sure!
Great video! Do you perfer the Chase loudges or the Capital one Loundges?
Both! But Capital One if I had to pick.
You mentioned that I can use the $50 Hotel credit from the Chase Preferred by buying a gift card? How can I do that? Can you walk me through the steps? My credit is expiring in two weeks already.
I don’t think I mentioned buying a gift card with that credit..I used it for a pretty inexpensive hotel.
@@beaunoonan510 ah ok. Thanks. I guess I misunderstood
I have the RC/CSP and will producet change my new Boundless to a second RC in a few months, then my P2 will do the same.
Baller!! I’m gonna get started with the boundless again soon too. Marriott your ‘go to’?
Maybe not ideal, but this is definitely a good use of points
Enjoying your videos but just a recommendation...remove the music. It's not necessary and actually makes it harder to hear you.
What do you think about running the CIP over the CSP with the ritz?
I think if you have business expenses like the CIP is geared towards, absolutely! And you could toss in a Freedom card to beef up some of the consumer spending categories.
People can't even apply for the Ritz Carlton card anymore
True, at least for now. But there is a direct path by holding another chase Marriott card for a year.
